Thanks to Sabrblade and carytheone, we now know of some nice new photos of the upcoming Earthrise Transformers toys. Cliffjumper and the Micromaster 2-pack Bombshock & Growl, who are mass retail figures in Hasbro's markets, will be TakaraTomy Mall exclusives in Japan and the Takaratomymall site has new images of these found at the following links:

https://takaratomymall.jp/shop/g/g4904810163244/

https://takaratomymall.jp/shop/g/g4904810163756

We have them all below for you as well. We can see the figures using the modular base components as accessories for themselves. We also see some cross compatibility with Cliffjumper and Siege effect parts as well as how he can use his back as a shield. But before we get there, we also have a video from PrimevsPrime of him playing with some of these new Earthrise toys.

That seems odd, doesn't it?
And this makes exactly 1/2 of the known Japanese line to be TTM exclusives in that market.

Which is quite curious. I can see no real rhyme or reason for it.

We got something similar with Hasbro. No reason really for Siege Ratchet and POTP Wreckgar to be walgreens exclusive and not intergrated into the mainline instead. I know wreckgar wasn't an exclusive in Japan, they must have been saying the same about us. It's just having retailer exclusives for the sake of it, both companies are guilty of it.

I think it was less the fact that Takara's making some figures exclusive that aren't here that's confusing people, and more the fact that half of the entire line so far is exclusive over there.

Those null rays on Starscream are some of the best we’ve ever seen.

Cliff with the shield it’s like a whole new Reveal the Shield theme here

That cliffjumper looks absolutely amazing. The proportions are great and definitely looks better than a remold of MP Bumblebee 2.0.

Wow, I can't wait for that fig!

I am still really excited for what this Cliffjumper does, but I dont think this will dethrone GDO as bestest Cliffjumper figure. I love the bazooka and ski modes, and the legs remind me of the Classics Bee, and for me I like the synergy of the two. That car mode makes me think Windcharger though

Cliff, Prime, and Soundbarrier, plus part of Ironworks, there's a lot of shields in this line and it's only the first wave.

It's nice seeing confirmation of Ironworks doubling as a Weaponizer. Looks really good, too!

Cliffjumper looks really nice, I'm digging the alt mode and accessories a lot. Also I maintain he'd look great next to TR/LG Bumblebee.

Base mode, robot mode, and an armor mode. I love this new flavor in the play pattern it feels like something in the spirit of Micronauts. Can’t wait to see the other basebots. Imagine a Voyager class Micromaster base. So much potential.

You know what would have been a cool gimmick on Prime's trailer? Lenticular printing, so the design would change depending on how you looked at it.

Probably going to headswap cliffjumper on to roadburn or just use him as is next to MP Bee. Likely means I'm going to have to pick two up during sales.

I like it, but what would the different images be? Maybe homages to different era's trailers?

Fair warning, but Deluxe Earthrise Cliffjumper is quite a bit shorter than either MP Bumblebee figure. The difference in height between them is more than that of the difference between TR/LG Bumblebee and this new Cliffjumper.

Is he smaller than deluxe studio series jazz?

I think a cool figure that could be done in that style could be an Armada Overload figure that comes with a Micromaster designed like G1 Overload that serves as the Minicon component and have the main body/trailer as a Modulator/Weaponizer with a base mode and armor/weapon mode. I think it would be awesome to see the character return, especially in a line where he could become weapons for everyone.

Plus his Armada figure could definitely be improved in a G1 Armada-With-Knees way

If Cliffjumpers head looks a little oversized on roadburns body I think a chibi robot look will actually work for him.
Orig MP Bee is around 1-1.4 inches taller than legends figures, compared to TR/TL Bee it is about an inch though obviously size effects proportions not just height. Im thinking Cliff is somewhere in the middle of the two, making him a bit out of scale for either.

Cliffjumpers feet and legs will fit pretty well with new MP Bees feet and it will be easier to have a MP Bee in a stance to reduce his size rather than putting all my legends figures on some kind of bases but the size might not be that noticable in hand/on display anyways with the legends figures.

*edited too lazy to flip bee photo and it wasnt great quality so deleted.

I am excited the most about Cliffjumper. Although I think he should be just a bit taller he looks great. Something about Starscreams really tall shoulder nubs seems off compared to his head.
