Bee's proportions look a bit strange but these are great figures.
I'd actually really like Sqweeks. Hell, I'd be tempted if he was actual life size.

Bumblebee's head is a lot bigger than usual. Transformers in general have smaller heads in proportion to human heads. But there are some Transformers who have large heads (especially in the movies.)
Still, Bumblebee is a good looking statue.

Yeah, it's the larger head that's making it look different. Makes me think it's a very high quality cosplay

Yeah which is also something that confuses me. These are statues? But are articulated like action figures? I thought statues was the name for non-articulated figures. I go see some statues at a museum and I can't move their arms and legs no matter how hard I might try.

Well that's just because you're not using the full potential of your upper body strength. Put some elbow grease into it!

Exactly. With enough force and willpower, you'll find that any statue can be a partsformer.Kurona wrote:Carnivius_Prime wrote:OptimalOptimus2 wrote:Still, Bumblebee is a good looking statue.

Serious question then, what would you call them? I couldn't think of a better word then statues, plus they're not given an actual title in the anime express listing. Up for suggestions of any kind!

These are high end collectable figures, like the Sideshow ones.

Joining the likes of Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Power Rangers, and more, Transformers characters Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - in their live action movie incarnation, most probably The Last Knight - feature in a new Walmart ad for their Back To School line of licensed merchandise - such as the ones seen here! Check out the short clip below.

Courtesy of Amazon Japan, we have images of some replicas from Transformers: The Last Knight of objects you might not think of at first as being relevant, but fandoms around the world have always inevitably fallen for: swords. That's right, the prop company goodluck have provided Prime's sword (at about $200), Megatron's cleaver ($130), and Excalibur ($100) - including some spoilers for the movie on that last one, revealing the identity of the Last Knight themselves. Check them out below!

Big Bad Toy Store has posted image filled listing of new Transformers: The Last Knight merchandise. These are two pricey phone dock statues, one with Optimus Prime and the other with Megatron. The listing is a preorder but they are estimated to come out in July. These are highly detailed statues with LED lights and both go for $100. Check out some of the images below and if you want to see even more images, just click on them.

Heh, they sure didn't name those swords very creatively. "Optimus Prime sword", "Megatron sword", and "Cade Yeager sword".

But the question is, are they actually weapons or just props? I need to know so I can track down scalpers and administer gory retribution upon the toy-swiping heathens uhh, I mean, learn to use a sword and keep fit.
The above is entirely a joke and should not be interpreted as a credible threat of violence against any individual, even toy scalpers, for whom there is a special circle reserved in hell.

They're "cosplay tools", according to the product listings.Black Hat wrote:But the question is, are they actually weapons or just props? I need to know so I can track down scalpers and administer gory retribution upon the toy-swiping heathens uhh, I mean, learn to use a sword and keep fit.

I NEED THEM!!! I NEED THEM, I NEED THEM, I NEED THEM! Especially Optimus's sword. I've been looking for a replica of Optimus's sword ever since they first showed the concept art for AOE, DECADES ago! I spent $300 on an actual sword before AOE came out, because I wanted a sword that looked like Optimus's. I've been waiting for this for years!

Yea uh, I'd very much like either the Optimus or Megatron sword. Someone please tell me they'll be on U.S. Amazon?

Would love that Excalibur, but for $100, I'd hope some of it was actually metal and not all plastic. Shame.

Ohhh.. i thought these were little accessories for the figures like the variois special repaints we've seen of Prime's sword and shield but these are actual cosplay prop size things? I should read more instead of just looking at the photos.
These are awesome.

These are awesome.
