Given how it splits open, it's probably a lot lighter than it looks. Might weigh a tad bit more than TR Galvatron's cannon is my best bet.

Unless they have redone that particular pair of joints, don't count on it too much. The shoulder itself houses a soft ratchet, but the connection to the body is a simple mushroom peg on TR Galvatron:

If you mean RiD 2001 Megatron (who, officially, only had six modes; the other five were part of his Galvatron upgrade), he was originally the different-character Gigatron and was made Gigatron again in the IDW1 comics, so he's kind of in a gray area when it comes to counting him as a real Megatron.Decepticon Stryker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It still amazes me how many modes they gave this guy:

Honestly, given how many different dimensional variants of RiD 2001 there are, he's probably a real Megatron in one of them.

To be really fair, the Omega forms are just variations of the base robot mode with a new face.

Really??? With all that struggling the reviewer had to do I hope Megatron comes with a shoe horn.

Regardless on the what this Megatron represents I STILL SAY the tip of his weapon barrel should have matched the paint on his legs...'nuff said!

That means the screw mount or mushroom peg thos is swivelling on is too tight and needs to be a tick and a hair longer to allow the spin, but I agree with Decepticon Stryker that the premise of the engineering was a beautiful design that should y not be forgotten.
Part of me was starting to regret the pre order. I am not in any way connected to the Japanese lore behind this, but man is this a sweet looking Megatron, and even eithout the face this still gives me "Generations Movie Megatron" vibes and I am back on board for this.

I'm in the same boat, I like surprises.
Although, just saying, it would be really awesome to actually have somethink like a SS Selects figure, or even a Cyberverse one. Like maybe a SS Skywarp from Blitzwing to complete the main seeker trio as completely different molds, or one of the Constructicon repaints from RotF, a Nightwatch Optimus Prime, something like that. And Cyberverse wise, how about a Megatron X or Dark Hot Rod?
Is that too much to ask?

The one thing we haven't seen this year in Selects is a leader figure, so that is a possibility for one of the 2 reveals.

Because selects is aimed specifically towards collectors, I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibility to see a SS selects someday. But Cyberverse being the current line for kids, I doubt we'll see something like that.

I don't know if it's still a mushroom joint or not, but if it is it's now being pinched in between the front and back halves so there should be at least some more friction there if they haven't built a ratchet into it.

Studio Series is technically a Generations line so it's entirely possible one day. I like the idea of doing the Constructicon variants this way. Plus we're overdue for a Nemesis Prime in the SS line. I wonder if they could retool WfC Earth Soundwave into Bumblebee movie Soundwave? I could also see Nightmare Megatron from the RotF mold, might look good against Nightwatch Optimus Prime.

I was about 10 years old when the 2007 movie came out, I liked the franchise at that point Energon was my introduction funny enough but I do remember watching a little bit of Beast Wars, no Armada but I only became more involved with Cybertron so I was really hyped during the 2007 marketing (my best childhood Transformers memories were the pre-release marketing for the first 3 films).
Cliffjumper came out and was a gift I still have, his doors broke off though but he's in a tub somewhere in my room.

However, I loved the character even more thanks to the Reign of Starscream comic which is a series I really love and personally think is some of the best comics we got in the franchise in general. (Starscream really shines here, Dreadwing and Arcee are also pretty cool here)
Cliffjumper was so bad-ass to child me, and I was always hopeful for his survival since his fate was left ambiguous.

His flashback appearences in other comics just cemented that more, in other continuities I prefer Cliffjumper to be similar but overall different to Bumblebee in physical appearance but in this continuity I really, really loved the two as these bash-brothers even if the idea isn't seen that much overall.

I prayed for his inclusion in ROTF and DOTM, which got to the point where I personally considered Dino to be Cliffjumper (his design screams it by being a red Autobot with a similar enough appearance to Bee, he's not really "Mirage" by all accounts anyways) and still do today much like how I now personally consider ROTF Jolt to actually be DOTM Que due to their similar enough colors and appearance alongside the former's lack of personalty and presence in ROTF even if the ideas are not canon, another more recent idea is TLK Long Haul being the same guy as the Garbage Truck Decepticon from DOTM.
So uh overall 2007 Cliffjumper is actually pretty important to me and I'm still a tad irritated we didn't get much more of him in ROTF and DOTM (in both merchandise and media representation)

But Cordon and Spinout do look pretty cool. I probably won't be getting these just because I really don't need three Sunstreakers (no matter how cool they look) and my transformers budget is already stretched pretty thin as it is. Cordon is pretty tempting though not gonna lie.

At the rate we're going, Generations is approaching if not already at mini-mp levels, not every figure mind-you but there are a few that are pretty strong contenders for quality.

Honestly as far as I'm concerned the quality is there in regards to a comparison to the pre-cartoon accuracy Masterpieces cause a lot of those transformations can be copied over to CHUG. That said, if ER Sunstreaker could do what the MP does, then it'd be perfect for me. It kinda does, but at the same time he lost his gun for the supercharger, and the supercharger unfortunately looks horrible in vehicle mode cause it's not really attached any more, so... Monkey's paw wish?
Also, as a side note: When is someone (3p, HasTak, Shapeways) going to make a conversion kit for Sunstreaker to turn him into a Headmaster with a Hunter O'Nion figure?

That source also mentioned a white Ironworks repaint to go with "the shuttle dudes", which I assume means that Micromaster combiner.

Probably because yellow is one of those colors that is very easy to make it look bad, more so then other colors.

On the positive side, that makes me more optimistic for eventually getting Road Rage and Crosscut. Hopefully we'll see Glyph and Tap-out too. Same recolor premise, but they also get love from IDW.
