New Official Images: Transformers Bot Shots Three-Pack Figures

Wait, Scourge = Predaking???

Do these new Bot-shots still have the spring problems? I got a 3-pack from Marshall's a while back, and I swear my Sentinel Prime could not stay in vehicle mode. Pissed me right off. Reminded me of how much I hate spring-loaded TF's as a whole!

Was that a unique failure, or do these things have problems converting/staying in alt mode in general?

So there are two Cybertron homages, right? Scourge and Optimus. And there's also Dirt Boss, but not in these set.
Would've been kinda neat to theme the 3-packs on different series; i.e. a RiD set with Sky-Byte, Scourge, and Tow-Line; a BM set with Jetstorm, Silverbolt, and Blackarchnia; etc..

I kinda like that Cindersaur, as garish as he is.

I love that Cyber Scourge! Which is why I don't get what Hasbro designers were going on about in that video about Voyager Predaking, when they mention how dragons aren't ever done in TF toys... I'd understand if they overlooked a G1 dragon from 30 years ago... but that Cybertron Scourge was out pretty recently!

Anyway, the color scheme is exactly like Predaking in that botshot, and I'd challenge anyone to try and get a child to identify that botshot as SCOURGE and not Predaking. So... yeah, not sure what Hasbro was going for (except that they could obviously tweak the Scourge slightly to re-release him as Predaking proper).
