I really hate those stupid hooks. It's pretty cool when the Hasbro version is better than the Takara because it doesnt happen often. Wish they would have given us a Sideswipe without stupid red paint apps. Do kids really like these crazy paint schemes better or is that the Hasbro marketing division telling kids what they should think looks cool ??? Does any kid actually ever get asked or does Hasbro just assume they know what looks best ???

Just how similar do the regular Sideswipe, and Sidearm Sideswipe look at first sight, especially in vehicle mode? There's your answer
Don't forget, parents are as blind as bats when it comes to new toys.
Now that I think about it, could it also be a countermeasure against toy-swapping?

Hasbro Sideswipe looks far better, the red paint additions giving a bit more life to a dull all silver scheme this Takara one has.
Sideswipe's feet really should be turned around and the toe bit tucked in under. It looks much more cgi accurate that way.

What?!? I think Hasbro's looks like $#!+...I actually just went to BBTS to check out the Takara version till I saw it was sold out and $36 to boot. Had it been in stock and around $20 I woulda picked it up.

And I already got Hasbro BB Optimus months ago and I just got Hasbro Sidearm Sideswipe for Christmas...
These look much better than Hasbro's versions. If BBTS even has either of these in stock AND puts them on sale then I will get them. Not to mention if you get this Prime along with the new Fallen you can recreate an awesome scene from ROTF.
