-EDIT-
I forgot that spring in the USA is March-May

I feel extra stupid.

Yes, Botcon 98 was in Anaheim, Ca, I was there!
They have not been to the south yet...Bring it down to Atlanta please.

Lexington Kentucky isn't the south?

I can't go to this one either now.
Now, let's see what spirit-crushing exclusives they've got in store for a very small percentage of the fandom.

Seattle's your best chance. I doubt they'd ever do a foreign hosted BotCon. (I know there was a BotCon Europe, but I believe it was handled by different people, seeing as it had it's own exclusives and ran at a completely different time frame than the US version.)
The US hosted BotCon has always been within our borders (lower 48 to be exact) and I'm pretty sure they'll keep it that way too.
Heck, I doubt there will ever be one in Alaska or Hawaii (too far away from the mainland, and too expensive.)
But, this is all a moot point in speculating until they give us the final date and location.

This wouldn't be a bad idea. Cleveland and Columbus are large enough to accommodate such a convention, plus it's local to a lot of the posters here (many complain it's never close enough, and they're right.) Frisco Texas was one of the locations, wasn't it? I mean...come on!

Just guessing though.
East--Rhode Island
South-- Kentucky
Mid-Central-- Texas
West Coast-- California
Mid west-- Chicago
They've hit many major population centers. I'm thinking Phoenix, Indy, Detroit, or Orlando.
I would imagine they would save their next West Coast swing for the release of TF THE MOVIE 2, Hollywood...

I could die a happy fangirl if they had a Botcon in my "backyard"...

Still, Spring of 08? They've been pushing this thing forward considerably lately.

So they'll feature Seaspray and other boat-bot toys?
