Thanks to several Seibertronians, we have news of potential further releases for the Netflix subline of War for Cybertron figures. From a thread on Google Groups, a Walmart employee by the screenname Zobovor was looking around in the computer and found listings for Deluxe figures from the Netflix line. These figures were listed at their own pricepoint and listing separate from regular Siege Deluxe figures. Take a look at the screenshot below.

So it seems that Bumblebee might finally make an appearance in a current toyline, after not having a Generations figure since Titans Return in 2016. Not only that, but we may be getting a figure of Deep Cover, a character first released by Ehobby in the early 2000s as a G1 Sideswipe recolor in a Diaclone color scheme.

Other possible figures include a Quintesson, Elita 1, Wheeljack, Red Alert, Barricade, and Impactor. As we don't have official confirmation of these figures, please take them with a grain of salt until we have news from Hasbro to share.

So what do you all make of these listings? Fo you think these figures will be new? Remolds? Recolors? Repaints? Feel free to speculate below, and stay tuned to Seibertron for all your Transformers news!

Hm... I kind of like Deep Cover's colors and think he could make a decent stand in for G2 Sideswipe if one doesn't want to get the Furestormers pack. Assuming of course that the new guy IS designed like that and not just a name reuse for a different character

I was out of collecting when the fandom was in its infancy on the 'Net, so that alt.toys.transformers doesn't have any nostalgia for me.

Would be nice if deepcover is a new mold so that an earthrise sideswipe can be less of a block. I'd pick barricade up if he's a mirage repaint even tho I really dislike the alt mode.

Not keen on er wheeljack so I'm doubting I'll be wanting a netflix repaint. Looks like their is a lot more I'll be interested in on the second netflix wave. I can't see myself needing another impactor unless it's vastly different though I'd prefer a non idw head version other the one I have.

I'm doubting that with siege only having a few figures with full cybertronian modes and netflix series being just repaints so far. I'll be happy if a Green Grapple/ehobby hauler shows up in netflix or selects. Wondering what/if any cardboard background comes with wave 2 deluxes

According to TFwiki, there are 10 pieces that makeup Teletraan 1, one in each deluxe. Wave 1 of Netflix is only five deluxes: Chromia, Hound, Sideswipe, Scrapface, and Decepticon Mirage. I'm guessing the next five will be in wave 2.

The thing that's really throwing me about that listing is that it's part of the Netflix line, and since that as far as we can tell is always redecoes/maybe retools, means we're getting some kind of Deluxe Cheetor in either Earthrise or Cyberverse's Deluxe line.

Hmm... Honestly trying to figure out which Siege/Earthrise carbot mold I'd prefer a Cheetor from... Maybe Chromia actually? Not sure I'd prefer it, but it might match the proportions/kibble of Cheetor a bit better...

We've seen that before as a Botcon exclusive (or Collector's Club) so, eh, why not?

...Thinking about it more, given it seems Cheetor is kinda their Designated Beast Wars Ambassador character right now, not sure they'd want to make a car version right now.
Definitely not impossible, just not what I'm most expecting.

If anyone wants to verify the listing them selves, it’s as easy as downloading the Walmart mobile app and following these steps. It brings up all the same basic info that scanning it in store would, besides the SKU number if the listing is still locked.

...well this listing is legitimately the highlight of my day. I don't even like Cheetor that much compared to other Beast Wars characters, but I'd like to think any Beast Wars is good at this point. Maybe the hint that Hasbro was planning something for the BW anniversary next year is no longer that far-fetched sounding (but I'm not going to assume that like I want to, since I'll likely be disappointed).

Regardless of if this is a repaint of a mold we haven't seen yet or a Cybertronian mode pre-Earth repaint, I'm buying whatever this will be so they hopefully get the message to MAKE MORE.

I'd forgotten the next five pieces are with the next five deluxes but... Now that we are looking at way more than five deluxes (unless some of the upcoming listings are earthrise with a price hike rather than netflix or voyager sizes not entered in the system properly) I'm still wondering

I agree. The combiner one was cool but also limited by the gimmick and sharing a mold with Starscream. I'm curious what she will be because in the trailer for the Netflix show she has different kibble than Chromia, she doesn't have the same backpack.

Elita-1 is interesting, but I really hope she's not a retool of Chromia. Most of the other fembots already look really similar, some variety would be nice.

As for Cheetor, this listing has me excited. But as credible as it is, there's a large part of me that'll only believe it when I see it.

Hmmm...would they dare re-relelese a 12 year old toy (universe/Henkei) Cheetor with a new paint scheme? I just don't see how they could come up with a new figure in a short period of time.

Honestly, until the figure is released, I'm not getting my hopes up for Cheetor. I've seen some people speculating that it might be "Pre-Earth Cheetor" but really it's just Tigertracks and they needed to keep the trademark for Cheetor.

As hopeful as I am that they might do something next year for Beast Wars, I'm still skeptical, and if anything this listing actually makes me feel a little cynical because if it's a repaint of Sideswipe, they may call it quits there and say "We celebrated Beast Wars!" which I'd find more insulting than if they just didn't do anything.

Though, I am now curious as to why Cheetor. He was in Cyberverse, but I can't really imagine that they'd do Cheetor rather than either Megatron or Primal who are arguably more iconic and easy to sell because of the heads being similar to the G1 Megatron and Prime

Amazingly, with the info available at the time (Leader Shockwave was in both SS and WFC, which we didn't know at the time, with the same type of "Cheat" no less). Soundwave's cassettes were the biggest surprises, really.

We know a good chunk of the cast but that doesn't inherently mean we know all of them, there were several characters present in the trailer that were not part of the voice cast announcement and vice-versa, Cliffjumper is in the show as announced in the voice cast list but there wasn't any sign of him in the trailer, Barricade is in the show but not in the voice cast list, this could mean that characters like him and Hound go unvoiced but who knows.

Of course they could be toy line only characters.

The only reason I even put Rung's name in spoilers was because of consideration for people who might of been avoiding the topic, it had nothing to do what was considered the actual spoilery contents of the box.

Just because something was given away in a product description (since descriptions can and will make mistakes at times) doesn't exactly mean it was meant to be given away.

Finally my Wal-Mart got the Spoiler box in along with Hotlink and Megatron. I was tempted to get one of them but I already have Magnus and the extras aren't worth spending the cash.

Fellow Seibertronian JT Prime found another listing on the Walmart app, this time for a deluxe Cheetor. According to the grouping it was found under, it would be within the Transformers Siege subline exclusive to Walmart for the Netflix show. There can always be an error of course, we'll keep you updated if we get more news.

I still think its a repaint or head retool of a car bot (or a Ravage or Lionizer repaint sold at a premium!), as I don't imagine him having a cheetah mode on Cybertron.

Honestly, Cheetor was the best possible redeco of the Animated Blurr mold considering it was based on TransTech Cheetor in the first

We haven't. But my money would be on the Sideswipe mold.

Here's what I'm hoping he's not: The 2008 mold hauled out of storage.

So long as it has cheetor's head sculpt I actually think he could pull off the datsun mold, but I think the sideswipe mold works too :-?

But them I realized since cheetor is fast, it could be a yellow mirage :shock:

Cheetor can absolutely pull the Datsun body type if you remember his transformation (as the original Cheetor mold) is very much of that same type and shape, with the front/head as chest and kibble as flaring 'wings'. He even has the Prowl-esque headcrest.

Cheetor was basically the BW Datsun already!

I feel like once again we're going to have a single/ few Beast Wars characters supplanted into a new G1 continuity, because god forbid we get a line/series that isn't a G1 rehash.

But if this Cheetor had a vehicle mode opposed to a Beast Mode, I will admit that would awesome and a better way to stuff other continuity characters into G1.
