OK, serious talk time. By this point most people are aware just what to expect from the Constructbots line. At their core they're the same robots, same transformations, the only difference is the number of extra parts you get to embellish the core frame. Soundwave is really cool but unless you're a big fan of the character I'm not sure I can recommend it over one of the cheaper kits.

Nice review!
I'm really not into this line at all. I saw Soundwave and just expected more. Jet? Really? He turns into a jet now? I get that he was a UAV in Prime, but... can't we just go back to the tape deck?
Anyway, I'm wondering 2 things from this review:
1) Can the heads be used for kit-bashing (as this Soundwave head looks particularly well made)?
2) Why didn't you combine some of the kits for this review? I guess it's not necessary (for review), but I thought the whole point of this line was to "create your own".
Anyway, nice review and keep up the fine work, Chuckdawg!

The back of the head is somewhat open but I guess you can plug it on an existing ball joint for kit bashing.
At some point I'll probably make some mutant robot thing with all the kits I have. I'll be sure to post video and pics. Keep an eye on my instagram.

Weird, I thought Robert Paulson died in Fight Club.
Needless to say, I'm relieved that he's alive and doing video reviews.

I know I say this a lot when it comes to Construct-Bots, but...
