RiD DVD Boxsets On The Way For The UK

TF@TheMoon are reporting that Maximum Entertainment, who recently released the first volume of RiD in the UK on DVD, are now scrapping their plan for several discs of 8 episodes, just one week after the first volume has hit the shelves. Instead, there will be 2 DVD box sets (containing 20 & 19 episodes respectively), set to retail at £24.99 each.

This may be slightly annoying news for those of us who went out and bought the first disc straight away, but it does mean that the complete series will now be available for a lower price (£49.98 for 2 boxsets as opposed to £64.95 for 5 single DVDs).
