Seibertron and Cybertron should be pronounced the same way. (Sy -ber- tron)

Afraid not. In the Japanese fiction セイバートロン (Seibertron) is the name of the planet, pronounced "sabertron" while サイバトロン (Cybertron) is the name of the heroic faction. Note the different symbol at the beginning.

about the comic reveal - "He saw the Micheal Bay film portrayal of himself and all the graphic pseudo-yaoi-porn of Himself and xStarscream or xProwl, and decided it was time for some pay back." - his new name is Busta Kap, and he likes guns and rap.

It is officially pronounced "say-ber-tron".

Have you watched any of the Japanese Transformers cartoons in the past? You can hear it right off the bat in this video clip from the first episode of Transformers Headmasters.

I think it just comes down to personal preference.
DJW had planned that Motormaster would be the same chassis as Optimus Prime since before the show started airing. So it was always going to be Prime, rather than it being a case of not trying hard enough.
I personally much prefer the Prime mould, as I find the Wreck-gar truck to be too cartoony for Motormaster, and additionally I've always thought of Motormaster as being kind of a mirror to Prime ever since that G1 "King of the Road" episode where they went head-to-head.
But like I said, it comes down to personal preference. I much prefer Prime, but then it probably helps that I don't have a black Prime already. And I doubt that a large percentage of the fandom who are picking up the box set do either.

You did indeed CP, I was typing the post as I was listening and I got in a bit early - when Ryan was still ranting giving his views (hehe I'm just sh*t-stirring)
Enjoyed the podcast once again though, cheers fellas

Thanks.
Did I disguise my deathly illness well? I was coughing up a storm and only speaking in between hacks via liberal use of the mute function.
The show is much harder to record when I'm sober...

"Spoilerific" - hey, that's my word!
The AllSpark Almanacs are the stuff of gods! They GLORIOUS pieces of work that have been implemented with such thorough delicate detail down to the letter! And there is much much more to them than what's on the surface. Both books have been annotated to a great extent (thanks again to Chris McFeely for his dedication to such well crafted annotations) that go deep into deciphering nearly every last minute detail of these books. Annotations for each book can be found here: Book 1 and Book 2. If I haven't made it clear yet, I LOVED THESE BOOKS!!!
"On the Edge of Extinction!" - Yeah, I haven't read the Marvel stuff yet either (but I will soon!).

Sabrblade wrote:What's with the audio in this one? Some of the lines (particularly those of "Seibertron Himself" ) were barely audible. Later on, nearly everyone's voices sounded so faint at various parts.
To be honest, we're not sure, but we're looking into it.

Good thing. I had to practically hold my headphones up close to the inside of my ears to drown out any and all other noises in the room just to hear what you guys were saying.Counterpunch wrote:Sabrblade wrote:What's with the audio in this one? I agree Oilspill He is a kind of a mirror of Prime. But i would have like the Wreck-Gar mold because it involved the trailer and that is what the original Motormaster had was his trailer was his body. But i do think that the Motormaster does look great.
Great Pod Cast guys i always look forward to listening to it in the car.
