Below are images of the multiple sightings coming from TF fans ahchu, Slingshot and Hye6640 who posted their findings on the TFW2005 message baords. California has been the main place for sightings but they have been found elsewhere as well, like Ohio. These being Target exclusives means that Target is getting almost all the stock destined for US fans, so these are bound to show up at your local Targets.

Then those will be available at our local Canadian Toys rUs for one zillion dollars each.

william-james88 wrote:It practically came all at once, Targets updated their Buzzworthy Bumblebee selection on shelves with many new offerings. The Creatures Collide multipack was found first (for $73.99) soon followed by toy deco Beast Wars Dinobot and toy deco Terrorsaur. All are in solid case packs, meaning there is no other/different toy in the cases they come in. And for those worried about theivery with the closed box set, there are holes at the top that let you peer in to see if there is something missing.

Bah - the Creatures Collide set still isn't showing up on the Target website database. Until then I can't get the UPC number for looking it up. Which means that you can't call Target up to have them confirm if they've got it or not. The dead-head clerks who work in these stores are utterly clueless without those numbers, it's like talking to a brick wall. 'T... oys? Uh... I don't know if we sell these "t... oys" of which you speak. Let me get ahold of my manager....'

Toy Dinobot looks really good when pictures are not overexposed. Love the Heroic Maximal / Evil Predacon prefixes for the toy decos, that's one of the parts of the packaging I remember the most from the original Beast Wars toys.

It made sense for the time. If kids didn't know anything about Beast Wars, they will know who the "good guys" and "bad guys" are.

Guess I know which figures I'll be examining next! I admit I was surprised. For the Creatures Collide set, Target charged about $74. After taxes, that equates to a little over $19.50 per figure. And since the box contains four deluxe figures, that's not bad for the cost. Especially considering that the average price for a Deluxe figure sold by itself these days is about $23 each.
I was fully expecting this set to cost at least $100, probably more. Nice.

Checked my target tonight, not a single new thing.
If that Creatures Collide pack is that price, that is a nice package deal. I need that set.

I was standing in my local Target when this news first hit the Seibertron.com main page, and not only was there no sign of any new Buzzworthy Bumblebee toy other than plenty of leftover Silverstreaks, there wasn't even a spot for any of the new stuff. No places on the shelves set aside for the Creatures Collide set, the Red Cog set, or the toy-colored Dinobot and Terrorsaur. Just a whole lotta old stuff plus the giant RC Optimus thing.

Yeah, my Target also had no space for either the set or Metroplex. The release date is the 31st so that could change. I finally did see Cliffjumper show up, and he looks pretty good in hand. I have ER Cliffy, but I might just swap them out in my collection and put ER up for sale. Maybe it's just the packaging, but BB Cliffy looks a bit lighter shade of red than ER Cliffy does.

Ok thanks. I thought maybe it was the lighting in the store. BB Cliff looks better, and I don't even care about the painted window.sol magnus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Yeah, my Target also had no space for either the set or Metroplex. I'll probably go back and watch it. I was never a big Cliffjumper fan, so when I saw the ER figure at the store I just bought it to round out my G1 collection. I didn't pay much attention to the Buzzworthy version, but I got it in hand at the store last night and the differences were noticeable. BB Cliffy just looks better.sol magnus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Ok thanks. I thought maybe it was the lighting in the store. In my area he's far and away the rarest of the bunch. I'd get him just for that (if I didn't already have him).
