The arker posted an image of the long awaited repaint of Movie 2007 Longarm as Hoist.

If you recall, the original head sculpt for the Longarm figure was made to look like Hoist as opposed to the Transformers Movie Game model for Longarm.

Finally. Someone at BotCon did this for their art contest entry. I'll definitely buy this and put it with my Classics/Universe figures.

TT24, the Arker usually don't post custom items. Not at their news section. The possibility of custom is not high.

The alt-mode is what you would expect Hoist to be... looks good. But I would want to see the bot-mode before I decide.

Molded orange plastic and transluscent yellow lights? Not likely.

Hasbro said a long time back that the head sculpt was specifically designed for this repaint at some point down the line.

Longarm was one of my favorite TF1 molds (once I unscrewed the gun from the hand), so I'll likely get this when it comes out.

Tell me more! How did you do it? Is it as simple as unscrewing a single screw? And afterwards, can he still hold the gun?

This has got to be the best G1 hommage from the movie line yet. Jazz was good but this is better.

Being objective about it, I know this isn't any better than the old Longarm paintjob. But having owned and played with the G1 Hoist as an 8-year-old, I have to say this makes me very happy.

Thats pretty damn cool if you ask me. Not a real big fan of this mold but since its host i think ill get it. That is if it really does see the light of day. Lets hope the bot mode has some remolds.

Sweet. My movie-style G1 collection gets another addition.

It's a good figure, too, and even better after I removed the screw that held the gun-assembly in the hand.

The rifle is now detachable and fits perfectly into the hole in his left hand without falling out. Much better.

As far as Hoist goes, I'll be picking him up, along with the Gears repaint of Stockade. The more G1 that can be applied to the movieverse, the better IMO.

Hmm, pretty skinny bot mode, not nearly bulky enough to be a proper Hoist. However, maybe Hoist joined Energon Watchers like Mirage did?

The only thing that can ruin it for me is that he ends up being an exclusive, you have no idea how many exclusives arrive to Mexico, I'm still waiting for Animated Ultra Magnus to show up despite he not being an exclusive.
