He's always been the face of those movies and he has chosen it to be that way. So I get why people keep blaming him for everything.

Bay did not make the movie designs. He was not the sole person in charge of everything.
You know everyone likes to blame him for everything despite their being many, many hands in the pot. The only major script decisions people can blame on him is Revenge of the Fallen since he finished the script due to the writers strike of 08

Now does this mean it can also be seen as him shielding everyone (even if inadvertently) from the abuse?

Nah, just as yet another example of people needing one single scapegoat to focus on because paying attention to the multiple(!), more obvious causes is so not done

It's not intentional, but we know he doesn't mind getting the blame for it. He's beyond it all as is demonstrated with him still involved with the brand and films while not shying away from letting us know.

If RoTB ends up the sub-par production I expect it to be, I won't be blaming Bay much, just a little. I think he deserves the majority of the blame for RoTF only. The other films are equally the result of everyone's efforts.

The collectible retailer site Zavvi had a banner image up which has since been taken down, promoting the new Transformers toys for Rise of the Beasts. On it we see Battletrap and Bumblebee figures. This is our first look at the new Bumblebee toy and while it seems to have a similar level of detail to previous Studio Series toys, there are two lines with movie deluxes coming out at a similar time, so it's not confirmed in which line he will be released. While we see Bumblebee in his robot mode, we can tell that his alt mode is the off road Camaro which he becomes later in the film.
There are a few newsworthy bits to take from this single picture. Firstly, the head sculpt features parts not seen on Bumblebee's head in the trailer, which include his antennas and side vents. So that means that either he had not finished transforming in the trailer, or that this face sculpt is based on an older character model.
Also, these being official renders means that their announcement is soon. Or at least, one would hope since we had renders of a new Hatchet and Hound figure for months and they are still not revealed. So we'll see.
Let us know what you think of this new toy and if you'd add it to your collection!

Hatchet still looking really nice.
BB, looks like they took Bumblebee Movie BB and mashed it up with 2007 Bay Movie BB and got this.
It looks fairly simple though.

Here’s more pics of Bee, showing his accessories and pics of alt mode, which has stripes on the roof that are not on the actual Camaro in the movie.

I think this BB looks great, like a chunkier, more solid version of the regular junker Camaro we have. I'm excited to see the rally-ready alt mode.

They really need to abandon this mold, the wheels in front of the wings are so prominent you forget the doors are even there, it's so bulky and ugly and innaccurate

Oooo, that car mode looks great, I do wish the car mode had more black paint on it to break up all that yellow like the screen model. Maybe they might change the layout before release...unless we're gonna have to wait for a "Premium Finish" version!

I find that Battletrap pic rather interesting too. That detail of the missile on his chest is not something we had in the previous toys pictures right?

Article from Screenrant officially revealing SS-99 Battletrap and SS-100 Bumblebee from ROTB!
I like that Bee is 100 since SS-01 is 2007 76 Camaro Bumblebee, we've come full circle!

£25 for a deluxe and £37 for a voyager. Available to preorder from indemand. 2023 is going to be a good year for not buying new toys.

Pulse has these for pre order now as well. Battletrap is 99, and BB is 100. I know several people here said SS100 would probably be nothing special, and you were right. I guess I was just hoping because "numbers". Oh well...
With that, we still don't know who 94, 97, and 98 are for Hasbro's SS numbers.

We thank EvasionModeBumblebee for letting us know of two new Rise of the Beasts toys being officially revealed. Through a Screenrant article we get our first official looks at Transformers Studio Series SS-99 voyager Battletrap and SS-100 deluxe Bumblebee, both for the upcoming Rise of the Beasts movie. When you remember that SS-01 is the 2007 movie 76 Camaro Bumblebee, we've come full circle with SS 100. Below are images of these two toys in both their modes. They are available for preorder wherever you prefer buying your figures online. Even on international sites like Indemand toys where they are £25 for the deluxe and £37 for the voyager.

Lots of news dropped, all regarding toys aimed at younger Transformers fans. We have our first look at the bot mode for the upcoming Rise of the Beasts Bumblebee transforming mask from a Baidu post, as well as several new stock images for more kids' toys from e0bay seller rubyemerelite. We can see that the Dinobots Unite Cyberverse combiners are being rereleased in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line, to serve as evergreen type product on shelves for any gift giving needs, along with two brand new toys: Titan Changer Cheetor and Soundwave. These are 11 inches high and feature the evergreen style we see in other inexpensive Transformers toys. Looking at the back we see that they have a satisfying level of complexity for younger kids, especially Soundwave. Regardless if you are into these or not, it is impressive to see the level of detail on Cheetor's sculpting with a fresh take on his helmet giving it a more Samurai look than usual. As for Soundwave, Hasbro was able to make a simplified transformation without resorting for fake "tapedeck chest kibble" in the front of the vehicle as they had done on their previous simplified "evergreen/Cyberverse" Soundwaves.
