We have breaking news, fellow Seibertronians! Forum member Jtprime17 has alerted us to an exciting announcement on the YouTube channel of Kevin Liu! You may recall back when Transformers Generations Selects Combat Megatron was first announced that some listings accidentally called out a Voyager Class "Red Wing" in the description, instead of Megatron. Well, it looks like Red Wing will indeed be coming to the Transformers Generations Selects line as the second official SIEGE entry, WFC-GS02. The video isn't live yet. It looks like it is set to release around 9:00 PM EST (6:00 PM, PT). The video is embedded below for your convenience, so check back here in about 5 hours from the time this article is posted to see what will perhaps be the world premiere of Transformers Generations Selects War for Cybertron Trilogy SIEGE Voyager Class WFC-GS02 Red Wing! Enjoy!

I'm waiting to see if Black Mamba or Weijiang makes oversized versions of this mold. I'm not going to buy the voyagers if I can get leaders.

I can't wait to see his blindinly red altmode. I still haven't decided if I'm just going to treat him as a G1 styled Armada Starscream yet or not.

One thing that I appreciated about the original classics seekers being deluxes, was their affordability. Finally got starscream and will probably the only version I’ll get unless there’s some heavy remolding down the line.

Has anyone ever confirmed the existence of a metal pin variant of starscream? Or was it all unsubstantiated? If they released a version of one of the other seekers with the pin I would definitely buy one.. as if I d the toy excellent except for the chest popping off all the time.

From what I've found it seems to have just been a hoax, but who knows maybe they'll pin Thundercracker.

I think I'll get him. Not really a fan of the mold, but if I get one or 2, he'll be one of them. That red is delicious

He said the chest piece is a bit tighter than the starscream. Also that its slated for August 1st wide release. His copy was 1/100 early release in Taiwan thru some retailer that i'm too lazy to look up

Swoopscream? Gender neutral Windblade? Hey is Selects just where all the unused red plastic goes because it’s like, so ...so very red. i hope the QC issues get a little TLC before he gets released.

I thought I would be waiting to get any version of this mold until I saw an Acid Storm, Sunstorm, or Ramjet, but I'm a sucker for the Armada Screamer color scheme and more rare/obscure Cons, so Red Wing is officially added to the list. Love that he even has two shades of red on the alt mode, and that he has the smirk face.

So in other words, Starscream and Thundercracker's face sculpts got switched.
