Transformers Prime "Robots in Disguise" Deluxe Ratchet In-Hand Images and Video Review

Wish the red was darker, but I love it. I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely love it when I can't tell how the transformation goes just by looking at it.

Needs to be taller. Not quite up to Voyager height, but still taller.

He's depressingly small, in either mode.

We can only hope a reasonably scale-accurate Voyager release is in the works.

he would be perfect if he had more red but this will do just fine! reprolables will fix that just fine.

i agree that hes a touch too small. but other then that, i think hes perfect. too bad his chest doors are fake though. cant wait to see the vid review

The video is coming guys...it's uploading now. It's not my best work...i haven't been doing too well the past couple days (personal stuff)...but i know a lot of people wanted to see this guy. You'll just notice i'm not my normal "chipper" self

He's (very VERY slightly) taller than FE Bumblebee so I am okay with him. Wish he was a bit bigger, but he looks so good I can't complain that much

He's actually very VERY slightly shorter than FE Bumblebee. The picture i posted here is a bit deceiving i guess because Ratchet is in the foreground while Bumblebee is in the background. Forced perspective is going on slightly and making Ratchet look taller than Bee then he actually is.

Oh well. He still looks fairly big for a deluxe these days. A Voyager one would probably be really out of scale or a really small voyager.

You probably answered this in your review, but do the knives store somewhere in vehicle mode? Other than attached to his bumper I mean

Too small, that's disappointing but it looks ok figure-wise. I was hoping he'd fit in with my first editions because I am not getting those "imposter" versions of OP and Bulky. Thanks for sharing regardless Optibotimus.

The colors look mildly better here than in previous pics. It's a shame he's so small. I hope there's a voyager in the works, but if not I can probably settle for this one since Ratchet isn't one of my big favorites anyway.

Its a decent enough mold but it desperately needs some paint apps. Hopefully Takara gets it right.

I wonder if this would make a decent Classics Ratchet after a head swap with the Kreo Ratchet

not bad but not great either, needs more paint a little remolding. Size wise though he actually looks deluxe size, unlike all the others in this line & DOTM.

Am a bit drunk but his back looks like g1 broadside ALT , some times kibble is needed in his case YES , i ws gonna use him as my neo Ratchet but not now ill just wait mabey pay out for igears who eva it was .

He completes the set.

I like him! A little Jeffery Combs to call my own. I have that white Movie FAB Ratchet subbing right now, andnobody's happy.

I'll be using Cyberverse Arcee in groups poses; her FE version will hang with all the other bike formers.

He doesn't look as bad as the first pics we saw.

Unless the Takara version rocks my socks, I may just go with this.

I kinda wanna see this mold use as a new G1 soundwave figure...I might even take up customizing and repainting if I have to

Out of what we've seen, pick-ups for me are:

FE Optimus
RID Ratchet
RID Wheeljack
RID Knockout
RID Vehicon
RID Megatron
RID Soundwave

If Ironhide, Breakdown, and Dreadwing's regular sized toys look like the Cyberverse ones they're bought as well.

If I happen across FE Bulkhead (if he's ever released ) or RID Arcee I'll pick them up, but I'm not hunting for them.

I also want to see these supposed Rumble, Dead End, and Airachnid figs too.

Nicely done figure but pass. I hate the faux chest and the height is absolutely inaccurate.

If you guys dont know he's suppose to be tidbit taller than Bulkhead but quite smaller than Optimus.You can check it in the opening of TF Prime if you dont believe me.

If they make a Voyager of this guy in the current RiD size(Which is small in case you dont know, you can check comparison of FE Prime with RiD Prime/Megs in the Seibertron gallery) it would be perfect.

PS : I'm pretty sure FE BB is tidbit taller than him...But meh I dont know since I dont own it xD.

i dont see why people are complaining about the hight of him, i think he is just fine. my only complaint is the lack of red paint.

Yeah, the figure is smaller than I'd like it to be but it's not deal breakingly small. I can live with it. The design is great. I like vehicle mode, robot mode and the transformation. The colours are a little disappointing, but not terribly so. I imagine the Takara version will really kick ass, hopefully by not painting the fake windows on his chest and, if I'm not mistaken, applying the same shade of red to both halves of his roof.

I've been thinking this for some time but does anyone else think Optibotimus looks and sounds like David Blue from Stargate Universe?
