That would be the DotM Cyberverse Legion Class Bumblebee, if I'm not mistaken. So in short with a penchant for drawing conclusions, half of the line will be redecos: 2 out of the 4 Deluxes, and 1 out of 2 Voyagers.

Decepticon Berserker??? Now that sounds interesting.

Skip back a few pages and you will see more pics of that toy and of Barricade and others too.
--------
Slash seems like a nice enough deco.
As I have said before what I'd like to see is the toys that were missing from the previous boxed sets to be made in the appropriate colours to fill in some of those gaps. So that would be things like a G1 deco Slash and Scorn for example.
If you go pocking about on the internet you can see the pre-production art for Slash and they provide a number of colour options since at one point there was going to be multiple Slash dinos as minions of Scorn if each was a slightly different deco that would have been nice to see.
$20.00 is a bit to expensive to make so many frivolous repaints though.

Especially as there's nothing premium about them, this way you just pay top-dollar to get hideously un(/under)painted figures sooner

Even the box art for that Bumblebee isn't based on his new mode, it's a straight copy of his DOTM form. Perhaps that'll be his mode early in the movie?
My hope may be restored for a better Bumblebee figure down the road

Yeah, the whole "Hey, Bumblebee is old again" thing still confuses me. Does he like his old mode more or something? Since this is all about the "Knights" of Cybertron, why wouldn't he keep his more sleek, knight-like mode?
Unless that's exactly what it is! They want to subliminally define who's a knight and who's not by their robot mode, therefore, so as not to get people confused, they took Bumblebee back to his old look so he's not sleek and knight-like!
This concludes my conversation with myself.

There will always be hope for a better (or at least another) Bumblebee figure down the road. In every TF line. Forever.

Thats exactly what it is. This picture pretty much sells it:

Notice how there are other Last Knight toys, at the same development stage (finished and ready to ship) and yet they dont have that logo. The only ones with them are the deluxes, voyagers and Leader (Optimus) which were branded as Generations toys in AOE as to distinguish them from the other products for a different age group. Well since they dont want to interupt the generations line this time (as Hasbro stated in an interview), both lines will run concurrently and thus this is just a different name to distinguish these movie figures intended for an "older" audience from both the other generations line and the more kiddie toys. And the word they chose is Premier which is a play on words on the fact that its movie related (premiere) and in a similar vein to the first edition toys of before. The higher price is, as Va'al said, purely capitalism hidden in the shape of a nice box.
One thing to Zelze though, I didnt find most RID Prime toys t be gimicky, many were in the same vein as the first editions, like Wheeljack for instance. And their Optimus and Megatron were as complex as their first edition counterparts. Plus there is no denying which Vehicon toy is better
Pretty sure you would lose that bet. There is nothing of these that indicate they are anything close to those aside from a misinterpreted word. These are coming first in the line (unlike the ones you mentioned) and they are coming as part of the standard retail line unveiled already, they are also a mix of new molds and older ones (again, unlike the idea of only being premium versions of existing molds) and lastly these arent in any way premier paint jobs, especially when you compare this bumblebee to the original. The only thing this has in common with the premium line is 5 letters.
In the end, there is 0 evidence at all that this is anything else than just your standard movie line. Toyfair may finally give us more evidence against that but for now there is none.
And the famous 2016/2017 retrojip continues!

Yeah, shame about the weird thigh-leg ratios and the monkey arms, beast mode looks epic though

It means feeling retroactively cheated when you realize that a later release of a figure offers more or something better than the one they first gave you.
Like how this

was revealed after this guy came out

Or how these two were priced the same with the one with way more accessories came out later:

NIce silver Grimlock with red eyes. That voyager mold is one of my all time faves so I may be tempted to replace my AoE one with this updated deco.

I'm glad I'm not a kid interested in transformers... cos if I were, all these many lines would confuse me
Nice packaging... seems more compact or am I mistakenly as I can't recall the previous packaging?

Eh, that's not really the same thing. In Slash's case, sure, the new figure will probably be a better fit with the G1 style repaints in the grays and silver colors and make him more appealing, but for the other examples they're representative of different versions of the same character. If what you want is a regular blue and red Prime you aren't going to get that from the Minicon and Power Serge versions no matter how many new things they come from. It's not like the original G2 Optimus Prime made '84 Optimus Prime no longer desirable thanks to all the extra stuff. Personally I'd take TAV-21 over the remold any day. As far as those deluxe figures go, I think of it more like the Power Serge remold came with extra stuff, not as the original came with less since it comes with the same number of accessories as pretty much all of the other figures in the line.

A vietnamese seller on facebook has the recently revealed Slash and Grimlock figures from The Transformers: Last Knight for sale, but it is a private account. TFW user Saito Satoru has access and posted the images found there. You can see both of them in their more screen accurate grey/silver decos below.

Your so damn lucky. I also think this looks great, but the fact that I already bought the previous one makes me really ticked off that I have to buy the same toy again just to get a decent deco. You wont have to live with the guilt of noe having wasted money, you get the good stuff straight away
