Fellow Seibertronian Deadput has discovered this new picture of Megatron from the upcoming movie. He looks just like his action figure that was revealed to us at Toyfair earlier this year. If you want to see more images from Transformers: The Last Knight, some pictures of Hot Rod are also available for your viewing pleasure.

Looks like the "Humans come to negotiate and they join forces to fight evil Optimus" scene ;)

Lennox is in the picture as well so this must be part of the scene where he meets Megatron in the desert.

Makes sense. A previous interview or interviews did describe him and Cade being on opposing sides at first.

Hey, you know what this design reminds me of, actually? Straxus. His head sculpt, his body style... Frell, even his sword looks like a pickaxe.

Maybe I'm just crazy.

If they do, I will stop collecting transformers. I stopped in1986 for 10 years. Don't want another relapse, and I'm old. It's easy to discourage an old guy to stop spending money when he's not happy :)

They can't kill him off permanently for two reasons: 1) Marketing value, and 2) Peter Cullen.

A fellow fan reported finding the following:

I found the Tiny Turbo Changers at a Walmart in Ogden, Utah today. They retail for $2.97.

Also, HTS has them online right now for the same price as toysrus if you are interested:

You could order them now, get the free shipping and have them in a few days without worrying about not finding them at retail or spending more time/gaz.

While we had seen the boxes for the Takara Transformers: The Last Knight toys a while back, we only got a really good look at them today. We see that they are just the Hasbro boxes with stickers (like what happened with the first movie toys). However, now that we see the stickers up close, we see something we never saw before: Kanji. You see, every single time before, the name of the film was in Katakana, the bigger Japanese letters you see. However, below these letters, we have different Japanese writing in Kanji and instead of just having the English title phonetically translated, you actually have a Japanese title. And it's a different title than the English one we see on the box. Instead of it being The Last Knight (which is what TLK stands for), they write The Last Knight King. Could this change in title for Japan give a further hint at the plot of the film? Like not only is it a knight, but there is also a royalty angle or a superiority to the other knights?

Below is the technical explanation regarding the name translation pattern of the previous movie toylines from Sabreblade followed by an example of the Katakana and Kanji found on the boxes.

Sabrblade wrote:Anyone else notice that the Japanese logo for the movie doesn't have any Katakana in its subheading?

Of the previous four films, all three of the sequels were given different names from the English ones for their respective Japanese releases, but whose subheadings were all still foreign word names rendered in Katakana:

ROTF: トランスフォーマー リベンジ Toransufōmā Ribenji, "Transformers: Revenge"
DOTM:トランスフォーマー ダークサイド・ムーン Toransufōmā Dākusaido Mūn, "Transformers: Darkside Moon"
AOE:トランスフォーマー ロストエイジ Toransufōmā Rosuto Eiji, "Transformers: Lost Age"

Here, however, the title's subheading is instead rendered in Kanji (along with a の Hiragana):

トランスフォーマー最後の騎士王 Toransufōmā Saigo no Kishi-ō, which means "Transformers: The Last Knight King"

This sounds to me like it could give a bit more context as to who the titular knight is. He's not just a knight, but the king of the knights.

King of Knights? I was joking about the Fate series crossover but I wouldn't complain if it was real and wacky and marvelous.

You know, as I was typing that post, I Googled 騎士王 (Kishi-ō, "Knight King") to see what would come up and the first result that came up was the Chinese Wikipedia article for King Arthur, 亚瑟王 (Yàsèwáng). Could be a coincidence (as those are not the same three Kanji as those I Googled, save for the third one), but I did find it funny what with all the Arthurian stuff going on in this movie.

Composer Steve Jablonsky is not the only one involved in the score and soundtrack for the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight live-action movie - we have news from Celldweller (through a YouTube video that slipped under the radar), that the synthwave / 80s New Wave artist will also be collaborating on the soundscape for the movie.

According to the latest interview, on Beyond Synth episode 101, the project is near completion and Klayton/Celldweller is

..just wrapping up work on the new Transformers film right now. I'm doing all the synth programming, and guitar work, and some drums and stuff for the score for that movie.

Entertainment Weekly has written another article about the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight movie, this time centering around Stonehenge. Micheal Bay wanted to film in Stonehenge so he decided to build a set with a second one for a proper filming experience complete with Bayhem. While the location of the second Stonehenge was not revealed, Laura Haddock did talk about Micheal Bay's filming styles and how realistic he likes to be. You can read a snippet below and follow the above link to the full story!

“Michael’s sets are practical, so you would think that maybe 90 percent of this film is done on green screen, and it’s really not,” Haddock tells EW. “He loves an explosion. He absolutely loves them, so if he can use them safely, he will. Often you’re running through what feels like a genuine … battlefield. Something that kind of builds your adrenaline. You’re absolutely experience what it feels like to have an explosion go off just behind you. And you’re just running, running for your life.”
