Video Reviews for all Transformers Cyberverse Wave 1 Scout and Ultra Class Toys

Saw these for the first time at Target today. I didn't expect the Scouts to be so tiny, I was thinking they'd be closer to Legends size, not Legion. $8 is asking way, way, WAY too much for tiny figures that don't even transform properly.

Amazon.com has new listings for the never-before-seen Cyberverse Wave 2 One-Step Changers! Thankfully, they also have new stock photos to see these guys! They include Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream. as you can see, these are new molds compared to wave 1, meaning they are more accurate to their show models (well, promotional pics as of late).

Amazon.com also has new listings for the Wave 2 Attackers (previously called Scout Class) and Ultra Class. These use the Seinfield names that were used in old listings. These also have new stock photos (except for Attacker Optimus).

So, does this make Windblade and Shadow Striker the same person?

The attackers name makes more sense then calling them scouts.

I knew this would happen eventually, Optimus is a retool of AOE Galvatron. Here's my review from back in the day when I called the possibility of of retools. If you'd like to rub my belly for luck and wisdom it's $5 for every rotation.

...Which is the new name of the game. Instead of reusing most of its parts, just reuse the transformation with a few tweaks and there you go.

Not quite. The Autobot Cars and larger toys focused on retooling or switching out parts, while smaller toys like the Jumpstarters, some Mini-Bots and most Micromasters have shared transformations instead. More recently, the AoE One-Steps had a few standard schemes (the "switchblade" has become a mainstay), which RiD 2015 expanded on. Cyberverse seems to be revisiting some.

Because Shockwave is objectively the best Transformer, and is deserving of such quality figures.
I'm still sad that he lost the Prime Vote

The other TF-stocking department store in town has Cyberverse now, which means I got my first in-person look at Ultimate Megatron and he's possibly better than I thought from pics online. For the price (NZ$58) he's a lot of bot for the money, and he looks like fun. I quite like his headsculpt too.
