Video Reviews of Transformers BotBots Toilet Troop and Techie Teams

Siege isn't the only Transformers product to coming out this month as Amazon has also started shipping out Transformers BotBots to customers! One of which is fellow Seibertron user, ChuckDawg1999! Chuck has put together a video review of two of the teams that have been released: the Toilet Troop and the Techie Team. Check out his review embedded below.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:I have no idea what these are, but they're cool little figures. While everyone has been losing their mind over Siege, Amazon got the first two sets in of BotBot figures. They're simple to transform in terms of steps, but their size does make grabbing some parts difficult. This line is 100% geared toward the younger fan who enjoys the blind bag/box/packaging type of toy.

Transformers BotBots are sold at different price points, with the cheapest being blind bagged sets of two different Botbots. You can also buy themed sets which contains Botbots you can't get via blindbags.

Will you be picking up any Botbots? What do you think of this new take on Transformers? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

Huh, I had assumed they were smaller than that. And here I thought they were already a good price.

Nah, I'm definitely not into these. Tiny Turbo Changers is my limit where it comes to blind bagged cutesy TFs. :P

We thank Hasbro for sending us the entire first series of Transformers BotBots so that you can get a good look at all the toys coming soon to a variety of retailers near you. First up is the checklist which shows us every toy part of series 1. It is broken up in teams and the stars in the checklist may indicate that some are rarer than others. You will see a full list of the names below.

There is also mention of the BotBots challenge where you post an image online of your BotBot(s) in a setting where one has to figure out which object is secretly a robot in disguise. The hashtag to accompany any post of the sort is #BOTBOTSCHALLENGE.

It'd be funnier if the Fit-Ness Monster's robot mode was a dinosaur instead of another humanoid.

Still, I have a feeling I'll end up getting all of these. And any less kid-friendly companions the third parties might cook up...probably just a pipe dream though.

Transformers Botbots Kid Klobber Gallery

They have issued a challenge to tie in with the launch of these new range of Transformers toys. As the Botbots are real life objects that have been given life by an Energon Mist, the challenge is simple. Collect a full team of them and then take a photo of them blending in with their surroundings! Ideally this would mean hiding them with their real life counterparts. So Shed Heads in a garage, or Toilet Troop hanging out in the bathroom. Once you have your photo, post it online for the world to see, challenging viewers to spot the Botbots hiding places! Don't forget when you post the photo up, to use the hash tag #BotbotsChallenge.

So what are you waiting for? Go and track down the Botbots and have some fun! Happy hunting!

The official release window for these is early 2019 and there will be two more series released throughout 2019 with over 190 Botbots to collect. These will be released through a mixture of sets and blind bags.

Please find below the announcement of the challenge, which has been mirrored here for your convenience.
