Shelves have been bare in the Transformers section of American Walmarts, at least when it comes to Studio Series and Generations. Well, Walmart is changing that. These past few days, we've have sightings from across the country of various new sightings all at Walmart and for a bunch of different lines.
Here's a rundown:
Swapticons two packs found in various states (image below is from California, thanks to Marc Anthony)
Walmart Exclusive Retro Bumblebee and Gears found in California (thanks to Marc Anthony)
Studio Series voyagers Voyager War For Cybertron Ironhide, TFOne Sentinel Prime and Constructicon Scrapper were found at a Walmarts in Florida (thanks to NovaP987)
Studio Series A Level Deluxe Devastation Optimus Prime and TFOne Bumblebee were also found in Florida Walmarts (thanks to NovaP87)
Wave 1 of Age of the Primes Deluxes were found in a Walmart in Missouri (thanks to Gizmodo)
Which of these are you looking most forward to find at retail? And while you may know what to expect from the mainline toys, below we have a video of what exactly is the gimmick for the Swapticons line, in case you are curious.

It's hard to say they're taking advantage of something they have no choice in causing their costs to go up.

Hasbro was not shy about it, if they pay more they will pass all that on you. And so far that 10% China tariff is the only country specific one that did materialize, and sadly the one that impacts Hasbro most.

I don't think all the stores reset at the same time, which is an obvious statement, but I guess what I mean is that this could maybe be on purpose. Back when I would actually hunt, it could be a month in between different stores completing resets. No idea of there actually are different designations/priorities for particular stores that determine when they do POG resets, or if some are just more on the ball than others. Probably a little of both.Seibertron wrote:My closest Walmart didn't seem to get the memo yet. Still lots of Transformers One and Studio Series Bumblebee products clogging the shelves. The other Walmart I frequent, which I visited last week, had blowout prices on a lot of Transformers One products but nothing new as of last week.
