Once more via the e-Hobby page for the upcoming exclusive Convobat (initially reported as Combobat) - the Titan Returns Mindwipe redeco with new Infinitus head - we have another addition to the comic that will come with the set. It's time for the Nucleon repaint to shine, as Megalligator gets some action!

I believe it's more of a flashback of what exactly happened before the very first page. At least we know why we never got a body for Megsie: it was blown to bits by Straxus, leaving only his head. And Darkmount as the location for his head experimentation...

Is it me, or is the story being told Memento style :-?

It really is one of the best weapon accessories for transformers figs no matter who you put it on it makes them look bad ass.

In the background of the first panel are some wallmounted bodies, specifically those belonging to Hellwarp, Wheelie, and an Overcharge.

Also a pair of swords that I at first thought were the swords that came with the original Convobat/bat Optimus Primal toy, but look a little different instead (there's even a C-clip on each sword's blade right next to the hilt). :-?

That's not Wheelie, it's Dion, they're all e-Hobby exclusives.

Swords are based on the ones from the unreleased Construct Bots Wheeljack Arsenal pack.

I don't think it's a nemesis convobat, the head is different. It looks to be like the Nightbeat Titan master to me. Which raises more questions...

I would like a mutant soundwave homage, but I don't think this is that either. That toy was largely gold, not what seems to be an implied green. The screaming mouth on the nightbeat head might be a good match though, sans some monster teeth.
