Posted by El Duque Jun 5, 2012 at 11:01pm CDT 34,312 views
The onslaught of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron continues to pour out of E3. We now have additional footage of Metroplex in action by way of G4TV including more of his transformation sequence. Check out he embedded video below.

But wait there's more....PlayStation.Blog hosted a Q&A session with High Moon Studio's Matt Tieger. Click here to have a look, we hit the highlights below.

  • More "Big Bots", fans have responded well to Brutics and Metroplex, not all have been discussed
  • Unlockable G1 Optimus Prime for both single and multiplayer, completely new model, the only truly classic unlockable model that can be confirmed at this time
  • The story was developed in association with Hasbro and is canon, no association with the films
  • No immediate plans for release on the Vita
  • Gameplay is longer than Transformers: WFC
  • Ultra Magnus in the game? "I can say that Hasbro has confirmed an Ultra Magnus toy. That could be a hint about his role in game."
  • Online trophies - yes
  • No current plans for a collectors' edition, though there have been many requests
  • The song in the new trailer - Cities in Dust by The Everlove

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Still Waiting for the "Big E3 News" that they posted about on their Facebook Fan page a few weeks Back. Hoping it wasn't just revealing the Look of Metroplex (whom we knew was gonna be in the game months ago)

With how this is going, I wouldn't be surprised if they threw the Minicons in. I know they weren't G1, but the Dinobots weren't made 'till after they got to Earth.

That's what Soundwave's minions are. They're both Minicons and Deployers.

Make him a Maximus class Cyberverse figure. Then make some Cyberverse FOC toys (of the bigger characters than Soundwave's minions) for him to interact with. 8)

no thanks. i'd much rather have a leader sized (or bigger) version... but we all know that'll never happen.

anyways. the best news i've seen so far is that the gameplay is longer than WFC. that's AWESOME.

What a knob! If you're going to interview someone then learn their name first. He seemed a little patronising too.

The fella playing the game earned an achievement. Could the game be all done and dusted? Metroplex is looking really good now though.

Is that true?! Hell, I thought WFC dragged on as it was, just running/driving/flying through pressing the odd attack button here and there.

Which is why I say make him a Maximus figure so he can be correctly scaled, as anything lower than a Supreme would do serious injustice to him.

i personally would rather have him done right (leader class or larger) or not done at all. if it were for cyberverse.. i'd have to place jazz, bumblebee, prime, shockwave, megatron, soundwave, and whoever else is coming out in the deluxe scale. plus, hasbro owes us something good and big. the last two large figures they've released were dreadful (3 if you count ultimate bumblebee) there was rotf devastator and "ultimate" prime.

you thought it dragged on? interesting. i thought it was good. i dislike games that i can sit down and beat in one night. did you play it on the easy setting? if so, that may contribute to only attacking "here and there".

i hope the controls are similar. i actually enjoyed the way you transform. . i also liked the way they worked it into rotf. for me it's not really a matter of liking it or not, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

i'm really interested to see how this "teletran" type weapons thing is going to work out.

i'm starting to come around to the fact that each level is meant for a specific character. i really like choosing my own character, but i noticed that i usually pick the scout type characters like breakdown and sideswipe.. but i think the way they have it set up will be good for story telling.

and lastly, i'm excited about playing one campaign that involves both factions. it REALLY sucked in the dotm game (that was probably one of the worst games i've ever played) .. but here, since it's longer, and the subject matter it should be fun, i like going back and forth, it definitely looks like it's going to help the story out. i guess we'll all see soon enough.

So we see Metroplex shoulderblocking a giant tower halfway down, then finishing it off with a titanic pimpslap

And we see Starscream sneaking up on a guy, kicking him in the ball-bearings from from behind, and shoving a facehugger bomb on his head.

I love this game.

Seriously, I can't decide what game I want to preorder first; this or Halo 4. I could order the Limited Edition of Halo 4 for about $100 (comes with camo-pattern for your Spartan IV and your Assault Rifle, an exclusive in-game emblem, and lots more) or get this for $60 for the awesome G1 Bonus Pack. Tough choices, tough choices... :-( :BANG_HEAD:

That Starscream looked amazing. I liked that second sneak attack too. Question though. Why does it seem that Starscream is attacking Dcons? We'll find out when we get the game. I'm stoked

That footage looks SWEET! =P~ If only I could afford any of the games and systems....

Shouldn't that read, "and is canon"? A "cannon" is a weapon (eg. a Howitzer), where "canon" is an original source (eg. a novel). I really hate to nitpick.

Oh the many choices in Starscream's level,Time to raise some hell!!!

Anyone else notice how many weapons there are in the Teletran-Store?? I cannot WAIT to try out each new weapon.

Until today,I almost totally forgot that Jazz and Cliffjumper are playable characters. #-o I've just been so focused on Grimlock & the Dinobots,Optimus,Metroplex, and Bruticus

Sneaking looks very cool, hopefully you can also sneak attack in Multiplayer.

Starscream's abilities are completely swapped, now he has Dash and Cloak. How are they going to do that? They are both time-loading abilities in WFC, not micro energon cubes.

The new Optimus looks great, I love it when there are fellow bots running around the battlefield.

Seriously hope they make a big fat expensive collector's edition for me to buy.
