Denton Tipton, IDW Publishing's newest Transformers Comics Editor has started up his own blog, which promises to be one of the key sources of sneak peeks and previews for upcoming Transformers comics.

Tipton gets off to a great start with a full colour preview of the upcoming "All Hail Megatron" series, showcasing the original 3 Seekers doing what they do best; creating havoc. Art is by Guido Guidi, and colours by Josh Burcham

You can check out the image below, or by visiting Tipton's blog, by clicking here.

Its interesting how the three seekers are drawn like the Masterpiece toys. Kudos.

So, no longer are they F-22s?

I see the top panel and the first thing that springs to mind is the Ginyu Force pose...

If Thrust and Dirge were there too it would be too priceless to see them all doing that.

With Dirge doing the infamous Recoome pose? (facing backwards, bent over at the waist, head seen through legs at about knee height)

I am dissappointed that they're down grading them to F-15s.

But I suppose they already demonstrated with Nightbeat (Cybertronian car to local car and back) and Blitzwing (Abrams to Soviet tank) that the IDW TFs can make minor aesthetic changes to their alt-modes with little trouble.

So maybe they'll go back to their F-22 state after the series.

Awesome, the classic designs for them! This leads me further to believe that this is outside of IDW continuity.

It's official, I'm naming my first born Guido. Male or female. Doesn't matter.

Wow! Very nice! I so cannot wait for this maxi-series! What I have heard and seen of it thus far only makes me want it more...and suddenly I see Seekers in "arse-whoopin' mode"....*shakes fist at IDW* damn you and your teasers!!

One word for this one: "GIMME!"

Very slick. I love the Masterpiece designs. I wonder if they'll explain why the seekers look different if this is still within the normal IDW continuity. It doesn't matter much to me, though. I'm picking this series up, either way.

Never thought I'd see Starscream posing like Batman but who knows.

Looks good.

Notice how Skywarp is all excited, and into, what Starscream is doing, yet Thundercracker looks a bit hesitant? A little subtle characterization there.

While I like the art, I don't understand why the IDW alt modes have changed. I thought the idea was to get away from "the norm" in Transformers... this is bringing the animation back to look (now matter how awesome) like the toys.

Oooh... They've changed designs. Never had any of the MP models, but I'm liking the way these images are looking. Wonder what reason they'll give for the downgrade though. I hope starscreams just feels it's more fun when the humans think they have a chance.

I noticed that too! :)

I like it! Good usage of the "old-skool" characterizations!

Dear Primus,

Thank you for the bounty that is IDW...And to pray for the wonders that is Animated. May you bless thouse nice people who gave me back my faith in the franchise after the movie was a total bummer.

All Hail Megatron is 100% within IDW continuity. It is not an alternate universe, nor is it an Evolutions title. It is straight-up central storyline stuff.

Shane McCarthy (the chap writing it) says there will be an in-story explanation for the redesigns on the seekers.
