Seibertron.com has learned that new images have appeared of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen constructicon Mixmaster in G1 colors. We previously reported on this figure but only had a robot image.

Alt Mode Pic of ROTF Mixmaster G1 Deco

No official word on when we could possibly see this figure on toy shelves at the time of posting.

Im really liking this guy. The normal version i was on the fence about but with this paint job its a must now. Hopefully we'll get some releas info about it. Wonder whos getting the G1 treatment next?

no, youre not, its completly normal for a Transformer fan to like G1 better, because in the end, its actually true.

OK, now I like this. I may cave and buy them if they all get the treatment.

And I REALLY hope the video game comes with an unlockable skin for Devastator in G1 colors. That would be completely bad ass.

Agreed. I thought the Robot mode was crap... but hot damn the Vehicle mode is just outstanding.

OK, you guys might hate me for this, but I like the original better. The G1 Decos usually amaze me, but this one just doesn't look G1. I have the original Mixmaster and he has a alot of purple in the mixer mode. Here he doesnt. I like the movie and G1, but this one will be a pass for me.

Okay, now that I've seen the vehicle mode, I can say that it doesn't look as bad as it did the first time I saw it. But the colors still hurt the robot mode.

I really do prefer the movie coloring. It was a good attempt, but this color scheme might fare better on other figures.

Besides, I rarely see a cement mixer of THAT color IRL.

Light green makes the toy look cheap. Overall I don't like light color. Some of the toys I own, like orange DVD OP, pink reissue OP, light red/blue ROTF OP, good toys but cheap looking.

NOOOOOOOO!! =( =( I hate hate hate this repaint. It looks so cheesy! The paint apps look nothing like G1. Even myself a collector of all constructicons in ROTF will not get this .

Gang, if I could recommend one toy from this line, it would be Mixmaster.

He's got some kibble, but for the most part, it can be properly tucked away somewhere or pinned down to his arms.

The detailing and sculpt are just outstanding. He looks like a walking chemical factory, especially with the four exhaust pipes around his head. You can talk about Animated toys representing the characterization of the individual bots, well, this figure does it too, but it just screams evil scientist with its efforts.

The original colors are definitely the way to go. All the online photos of him just don't do the figure justice. That horrid tan color we saw in the pictures is secondary and the gray and red are much more prominent.

The G1 deco looks good, but I'm not sure theres a need for it.

Now I'm kinda sorry I already ordered the movie version. Oh well, if I like the mold as much as I think I will, I'll end up having both versions. They'll look sweet side by side.

Well, the Constructicons are kind of a generic troop in the movie and there are multitudes of them, so having more than one of any of the molds isn't going to be a crime.

I'm still waiting for the supreme Devastator in G1 colors or at least to see a pic of it. If it's FAIL enough in purple and green, I'll settle for the multicolored one.

Must EVERYTHING be a slavish G1 homage? This colour scheme is just ugly, and always has been. Not only that, but it clashes with the aesthetic of the Movie's universe, and it shows.

If I were to redeco this mould, I personally chosen Cybertron Quickmix's colour layout over the same beaten dead horse.

Since the 2007 movie I had decided not to buy any movie toy and just continue my Classics/Universe/Henkei collection.But.....when my favorite Constructicons-Devastator apeeared in the movie-verse I felt that I had to change my decision...
And then I saw this G1 repaint(which I hope it will be followed by others).....
I just can't resist to these figures,both movie and G1 coloured....
