“I didn’t die,” the actor revealed to us this week when we asked about his character, ACWO Jorge “Fig” Figueroa.
And get this: His character is not only still alive, but Nolasco told us that the high-profile director of the “Transformers” series wanted to bring him back for an awesome re-emergence in the recently-wrapped sequel. “No [I’m not in ‘Revenge of the Fallen’], I wish I could say yes,” he explained. “I was shooting ‘Prison Break’ at the time so it was conflictive, the dates. Even though, I was asked to. Michael Bay called me and said, “You know what? You’re in Transformers 2’!” and I go, ‘I want to do it,’ but I wasn’t able.”
The interview then goes on to state that "Fig" could make a comeback in coming sequels the 2007 blockbuster movie. Great news for Fig fans and crocodile eaters.

I thought he was entertaining within the context of the other characters.
But then I like Alligator tail steak, so maybe I'm biased.

I'd laugh if they cast him as Croc Master in the GI Joe movie. Well, if they bothered to make it GI Joe movie.

Barricade was saved from a filmed death by the fans reaction to him in the test showings.... Wonder if this was the same reason Fig's death was cut 
He didn't have much in the movie.... but it's good to know for sure now if he's dead or not.

Well, another useless human character the got way more screen time than needed. Didn't serve a real purpose in the first film, aside from canon fodder, so I could care less if he's still alive.

Great! That's what I like to hear. News about some character that I vaguely even remember being in the movie! Man, I'm glad he survived, and hopefully will deliver one line in Spanish in TF3!!
