BigW Transformers Sale Catalogue: Trypticon, The Last Knight, RID, More

After the catalogue posted yesterday for Toys'R'Us Australia, fellow Seibertronian Qwan has also kindly provided images of the BigW sale for Transformers toys - if you're in the Oz market for some toys, from RID to The Last Knight, to Trypticon, now's the time to go looking. Happy hunting!

We've seen the prices for Target's and Toys R Us' toy sales in Australia, but I don't think Big W's catalog(ue) has been examined yet? I found it online and took a few shots of the Transformers page. Notably, Trypticon is down to $250 instead of the exorbitant $300, Movie Deluxes and Voyagers are down to below the average price for their Generations equivalents, and Tiny Turbo Changers are only $2.50(!). The sale apparently starts on June 22nd, so I guess it's time to start making peace with my wallet once again.

I'm excited about Trypticon but that pose honestly makes him look kinda stupid.

HasbroToyShop is having a sale on Age of Extinction Generations Leader Class Optimus Prime with his trailer and Sideswipe. If you missed out on this awesome (and shiny!) set, now is the time to pick it up. It costs $59.99 which is $100 dollars in savings from the original price.

If you enjoy the figures from the movies, you will like these in-hand images of the new Deluxe HotRod!

Despite the hate that AoE "1st Edition" Optimus have, it's a very SOLID mold IMO. Not only it do look great in both modes, but it's fun to play with too. Also, the fact that he come with the MP-10 trailer (and is compatible with it) plus a bonus sideswipe figure round up that very sweet deal.

Too bad we Canadians get RAEP'd sideways with HTS shipping policies.

I told myself no, but I am not strong. 1 like = 1 prayer for my crippling primeshrine addiction.

So... The main thing I'm curious about this set.... Will the Trailer be MPM-Prime (new one) compatible... or will it work with the Caliber Takara Prime?

Most likely yes. Check if the hitch is the same.

They could've at least painted the stripe along the side of the trailer(but...i know...that's a minor nitpick)

Ordered it. I just wanted Sideswipe. I'll probably keep the trailer and use it for something and just sell the Optimus later.

Guys, you should buy that Optimus. Play with that Optimus. Display that Optimus in a prime spot in your collection.

Like I did with the Silver Knight version.

Trust me. It's good. Don't be a sissy boy.

Oh...
Right...

Remember that mine is the Target exclusive Silver Knight version. The truck is plain looking, but the bot is a shiny beauty. It also have less floppy kibbles than the regular version and the backpack, even big, look consistent and not like a ruined mesh. It's also fun and easy to transform.

It is genuinely my favorite Knight Optimus mold. Second place is the TLK voyager.

The price is also very reasonable:

Try it. It's good. Don't be a sissy boy.

I'm referring to chrome locations and backpack. Probably should specified that since it could have been taken any way :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS: :HEADHURTS:

starting june 25th and ending july 4th all movie based toys at TRU are buy 1 get 1 40%off, this includes last knight toys and can be mixed and matched with other movie based brands. Not sure if its every movies based line (star wars, guardians of the galaxy, jurassic world) or just the ones in the ad (transformers, spider-man, wonder woman) but still might be worth checking out especially if youve been holding off because of the high prices.

Any mission to cybertron? Mine had 6ish Optimus 2 packs and a full peg (-1 now) of legion 2 packs.
