Very interesting. The two upper guns in the first picture have odd circular parts. I wonder if they're for specific figures?

Looks like they're designed to connect to the inner wheelwell like the G3 Trailer shoulder cannon for Mirage. I was hoping for more varity. Pass.

I'll wait and see how they look painted. I'm also curious to see how those circular parts are used. I have G3 but I don't want to take the weapons off the sprues.

I might be interested, depending on how they turn out. It's kind of cool how the Rodimus gun transforms into a bigger one, it would go well with the Protector set. Although, I'd imagine the Protector set will have its own built in weapons. Still, I'm somewhat interested.

I'm not seeing ten weapons. I see five. These don't look so hot right now. I'm curious to see em painted and what they can do. Like who they're meant for and any neat little tricks and all that.

You're right, I mistook the weapons in the second picture to be different than the first pic. Now that I'm awake, I can see that they're just transformed.

Not a must buy, so price will matter.
I'd love a nice set of decent scaled null rays for the seekers too.
I have some I've customed, but a set that looked like the MP seeker cannons but smaller would be awesome!

Oh man, any set that comes with a gun that transforms from one of Hot Rod's Photon Lasers to Rodimus Prime's Photon Eliminator Rifle... I like it!

I'd buy them unpainted. It'd be nice to be able to customize them to whichever figure I want to use them with.

in fairness they're really not that special.
not trying to be a boring internet bastard or anything, i love the idea of custom accessories and universal ones even more so, but they really aren't looking very exciting.
however it has got me thinking about some of my tragically un-accessorised vintage TFs. is there a resource (other than fleabay, which is ripoffsville for any small items. £3 p&p? piss off!
) where i can buy fairly cheap action figure accessories to chop up? i had a look at the custom figures forum and couldn't seem much that didn't involve sculpting a whole new part from putty, or just re-painting a different toy's gun.

the two circular weapons are for Universe Ironhide and Ratchet. The pistol to long barrel is clearly for Rodimus/Rodimus Prime. One looks like a constructicon weapon and the other one I have no clue. All I can see is that it extends.

The idea of a classics weapon set really excites me but I would like to see them post prototype before I am sold.
My classics trailer from BTS was a bust so maybe they can redeem theirselves with this set. The two blasters were my favorite part of my trailer set.

I like the gun/blade weapon that UC Ironhide/Ratchet have.
Hmm, this set is neat but the designs don't knock my socks off. But it's a good thing to have more variety in the options of accessories we can choose from.

rather than a handful of weapons for specific characters, i'd like to see is a weapon kit that lets you plug together various components to make your own TF weapons (including some hinges and bits like that for extra transforming sexiness) whilst maintaining a consistent visual style.
essentially it'd boil down to interchangeable main body piece/s, handle, stock & barrel/s which you could reconfigure your weapons as and when you want, or for different toys. throw in a white-light LED unit and some different coloured light piping pieces and you'd have a must-have accessories set.
I'm going to have a bash at making myself one if i find the time, it can't be that difficult.

I'm all for having some G1 styled weapons for my universe collection but, scince they are making these trailer upgrade kits for optimus and ultra magnus. Why don't they make a trailer add on for Rodimus?? Finish him, and give him his convoy ya know... I've been thinking about making one myself but, to much life going on right now.
