Classics Released in Belgium

Posted by Stormrider Apr 25, 2007 at 3:40am CDT 9,316 views
Even though the Classics line is winding down in the U.S. many releases are just starting to come out in Europe. Our own Chronic Tronic has given us a heads up that Transformer Classics Deluxe Jetfire, Mirage, and Astrotrain have been released in Belgium. Chronic Tonic found them at the store- "Fun", near Merksem and Schoten.

It is interesting to note that the European packaging does not contain stats or bios on the boxes.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Those are expensive for what they are. I'd expect to pay 19.99 for Jetfire, but not Mirage. Mirage near me costs only 9.99

Welcome to my life :-(

They are pretty expensive in Denmark too ...

Deluxe = 150-180 kroner
Ultimate Battle with NO dvd !!! = 300-320 kroner
Voyager = 300-350 kroner

......

now let me explain the valuta, ( 100 kroner = 18$ )

I didn't bought the silly ultimate battle pack without dvd, i ordered my set from bbst too a FAIR price infront of these !

Enjoy Belgium

And just one more thing that I noticed. I understand packaging has to be changed for the sake of translations. Hence the big block of flags and that nations language next to it instead of the bio and back stories and whatnot...

but in doing so, don't you think they'd remove the numbers and lines that show points of intrest as the listing of these points now seem gone?

Bi-lingual boxes suck. They ruin modern day figures, they ruin reissues. Half of my reissues are European, and they have about 7 words in every language imaginable.

My other reissues are American Imports. They look lovely. All of them have their bios on, and really feel better quality than the crap Hasblo UK give us.

Front paged and credited. :D Sorry it took a few days.

No biggie :)

I just assumed someone already reported Belgian sightings, and that I'd missed those.

Good news either way!

I'm hoping for more of them, especially Grimlock and Bumblebee.
