They are listed at 99.95$ and 79.95$ respectively. Both of these are priced higher than anticipated, basing ourselves on the price of the Conehead set sold in Singapore at an equivalent of 78.89$ USD and the suggested retail price of 65.99$ for the Triple changer set on the Hasbro website.

Yeah, but $30 each for the coneheads? I'm in. Definitely more worth it in my opinion than the Insecticons... C'mon, BBTS!!

Oh me too. If Canadian has similar prices (like 110$-120$) count me in! The deal with the seekers, in contrary to the insecticons, is that they come with so many damn accessories, and many are vital to the presentation (like their HANDS!). So getting a complete one is much harder AND much more in demand. I am glad Hasbro only sees it as three toys slightly bigger than the insecticons and just pricing it that way.

Excellent news. I've got Ramjet from my childhood, but I never had Dirge and Thrust. I've been waiting for years for a reissue of the coneheads. I'm going to buy this for sure. My only complaint is the cheaply designed box. I prefer an Encore styled box.

Gonna wait and see what BBTS puts up on these, since they've got a direct account. Cool that these are gonna be easy to acquire through online though!

I have Perceptor and Blaster but if the extras are good I could double dip. Heck, don't even ask me how many Soundwaves I have.
I'll be all over that Conehead set, I only got the reissue Dirge.

I was looking at the gallery Ryan just posted about Liokaiser (Cobotron, it gives you a good look at the robot headsculpts which I feel are decendents of the current idea behind the robots in disguise deccepticons) and I spotted what I thought was Mach and Tackle on a combiner. Those are the guys the astrotrain release is supposed to homage. Is that them? I didnt know they could combine into a bigger robot, I just thought they combined with oneanother. Let me know guys!

The Multiforce consists of 6 members: Dash, Tacker, Mach, Tackle, Wing and Waver. Not only can they combine in pairs (most commonly MachTackle, DashTacker and WingWaver, just don't put Tackle and Waver together), but they also combine into one single robot called Landcross.
The figures were reissued for the Micromaster series, in normal colors and a black "stealth mode".

I'm not certain, but that sure looks like Mach and Tackle to me. I know nothing of victory unfortunately.
this looks like a job for Jelze.

Hey. I did take a good long look at all the galleries, because of our conversation. What a neat old toy. I'm always a sucker for animal themed robos.william-james88 wrote:(Cobotron, it gives you a good look at the robot headsculpts which I feel are decendents of the current idea behind the robots in disguise deccepticons)

To get the idea of how many combinations are possible:
G1 Landcross on TFU.info
This page has all possible combinations, from DashMach to WingWaver (this includes the laughter-inducing TackleWaver).

Save for the double combinations made from two of the same toy like "Wingwing" "Dashdash" etc.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:To get the idea of how many combinations are possible:

But are the reissues in the microseries the same scale as the originals? Because I saw those and they are quite small. Does that mean that mach and tackle were rather small robots? I ask because any pic I see is either with figures I dont own or alone.

If they weren't, they'd be all new molds instead of reissues.william-james88 wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:

They were released as "DX Micromasters" for the reissues due to their size, but they're Micromasters in name only.

Internet, you have failed me for the last time. Seriously, I can't find any pics of DashDash, MachMach, etc. Anyone know of any posted? Curious to see what they look like, but not particularly wanting to buy a SECOND Landcross.

Ask for it in the "next galleries you want to see" thread. Also, is another landcross that expensive?

Sweet merciful heavens. The reissue is $125-$200. That's way higher than I expected.
Guess I need to schedule a local meet-up with a BYO-Landcross stipulation.

The original Star Saber looks shirt and bulky compared to the Masterpiece we have now. It just goes to show Takara does a great job of updating g1 characters with masterpieces

The conehead seekers are on pre-order at Robotkingdom for 69.90$ US. With their shipping it comes down to a little less than 100$ US which is still not too bad in my opinion.
The cool news is that they are listed as coming out May 1st. So I really hope their release at toysrus in canada comes soon after
