Inside the Mind of a Seller:

We asked one of our most prolific and active sellers, Craig Chappell, to write an article for our blog about what it’s like to sell on Crave. He was more than happy to help us out, and had this to say about his Crave experience:

“I never had a repeat customer in hundreds of internet auction sales and I have had about a dozen returning buyers on Crave in just 75 listings. This has shown me first hand that there is something special about Crave. I no longer have any plans to sell Transformers elsewhere as long as Crave is around!”

I have found success selling on Crave in part because I am selling more than just a collectible toy. Crave is a community of Transformer Fans and whether I buy or sell a listing, I am developing a relationship with people. Crave allows fans to bond through conversation whether in messages or comments on listings. The community is growing and fans are getting to know and recognize each other…

It’s important to realize when selling, that I have to hold myself to a different standard than when I’m buying or just looking. As a seller, I become the store, and the other fans are the customers. My attitude should reflect my desire to please the fans that are looking and hopefully buying. Sometimes fans have good info or feedback and other times they may have some criticism. I accept the feedback either way, and if I am selling figures in the price range they should be, then the negative feedback doesn’t happen. That should tell a seller a lot. –Craig Chappell
