Courtesy of the official page of toy designer and artist Emiliano Santalucia, we have a look at Hasbro' All Spark Tech figure of Optimus / Nemesis Prime and the basic concept of the line, from Transformers: The Last Knight.

The images shown, and mirrored below for your viewing convenience, feature the basic parts of the toys that allow for the interchangeable cube cores to be inserted in the chest of the characters. As you can see from the initial concept design, the cubes were thought to be much smaller than what the figures ended up being after all. Give it a look, and join the Energon Pub conversation!

So cogman was on 'sale' at tfsource so I bit; having him now, I'm wondering how he could ever be considered a figure of the year. He has no heels, and a terrible center of gravity due to, wait for it, 3 degree's of movement in his frickin legs, he can only bend his knee's at 0, 45 and 90 degree's of bend, it's mind boggling, like how was this a good idea?

tldr: cogman makes a great statue :BANG_HEAD:

So I’ve been considering buying a deluxe class crosshairs via amazon and read about how there was a problem with the figure(wheel popping off and gun not able to store in alt mode). How likely am I going to get a crosshairs with that problem? I’d be willing to spend a few extra dollars for one, but not if it’s like 50% chance of getting a defective one.

Those problems are not really a big issues. The loose wheel can be tightened with Pledge Floor Polish and as for storing the guns, you just have to put them in the right way.

Also, there may be some production number on the packajing to differentiate the runs, but even if you know them, no online retailers would care. In the end, it's a throw of the dice.

The wheel will always be looser on one side, regardless. But for it to be super loose, yes its a 50% chance. But as Kanrabat said, its fixable on your end.

As part of a supposed mandate during the year of Trasformers: The Last Knight, practically all Age of Extinction dinobots were to be redeco'd in darker more screen accurate colours. Many of you might still see the voyager Grimlock still on shelves, and the Strafe, Slug and Slash redecos were also available at retail. There was also a Snarl redeco to go along with his fellow Dinobots but he was a Universal Studio exclusive (and not even labeled as part of The Last Knight).

So for many, that was a toy they simply would not be able to add to their collection. That will change later this month, with BBTS now listing this same toy for only $19.99 USD. We have official images in the listing as well that you an see below. Which of you will be getting this toy?

Product Description
Bring home the explosive action of the Transformers universe with this Deluxe Snarl figure. This Dinobot figure converts from robot to stegosaurus in 15 steps. Figure comes with 1 blaster and 1 blade accessory that combine to form 1 bigger mace accessory.

The name Snarl says it all. Constantly scowling, the Autobots and Dinobots can never really tell if the ferocious warrior is on their side. Entrenched with a fiery hatred towards the Decepticons, the Dinobot only smiles when faced with another chance to take down the enemy.

It would have been nice if the Slug, Strafe, and Scorn (and Slash) figures released for the TLK Premier Edition line had muted gray/black with light "patina" coloring like this special edition Snarl. Instead, they were pretty much just as vibrant with screen inaccurate color as before with the AoE regular retail toys, only this time, Slug is yellow instead of purple. Here's hoping for better versions of at least the rest of the on-screen Dinobots for the Studio Series beyond Leader Grimlock.

In an ideal world, the movie dinobots would all be at least in screen accurate colors and be voyager or leader depending on the dino.

In reality, a 3P/KO company will do just that if it's not already done.

I dunno, TLK Scorn is still pretty bright. I'd settle for a straight repaint more matching to SS Grim :-?

I'm happy about this though. I'd been eyeballing this guy on eBay, best price was triple this. So this is obviously bought!

Even Studio Series Grimlock is undersized for true screen accuracy at Leader scale, but realistically, it's the best we're gonna get. To keep the rest of the Dinobots in scale with each other, at least, Scorn would need to be a Leader class figure too, and just a bit bigger than Grimlock even in robot mode. Slug should either be a very large voyager (bigger than even Starscream) or a smaller Leader (like Blackout). Strafe should be a larger voyager and just a bit smaller than Slug, whichever size class Slug would fit into.
