I think the robot mode looks spot on (except for his tiny, tiny hands)
The jet mode has to be mistransformed, maybe the treads fold upwards to the body to hide better? Or back to make the jet appear longer?
Either way I am not gonna look a gift horse in its mouth (they have cavities sometimes
) I'm just glad I got to see his toy in general and not concept art, no matter what the apparent flaws

Looks like HASBRO was only doing the ebay crackdown for a day. I'm probably in the minority big time with this, but I don't like it. The faces are meh and that tank/jet mode is atrocious.

Like you guys, I love the robot mode, but I'm hoping the alt mode pictured there is just a really bad mis-transformation.

Maybe since the seller STOLE this version of Blitzwing, they had to build a new one from scratch...
Just from looking at this toy, it looks more like a FAB than a regular deluxe. Maybe they will go the route of Bulkhead and make a Leader size toy for Blitzwing that actually looks like something.

I am on record to say that the next BOTCON set for 2009 will be awesome if they are going to be neh going to be using these Animated moulds for the basis of the box set release. I'LL BE THERE FOR SURE!

Terrific bot mode. Jet mode looks more like a jet/tank hybrid than a jet mode with kibble. Too bad Blitzwing didn't get a Voyager toy, since the Deluxe strikes me as just too small for the degree of complexity required to pull off all modes. Still, he'll take a proud place with the rest of my Animated collection once they're out in stores.

He looks mistransformed to me. I seriously doubt the treads would just end up positioned that blatantly under the plane.
I'm sure there's something more there. They probably fold up under the wings or something.
The robot mode looks pretty good. I'd like to to see the tank mode soon.
So far I will buy it just because I'm a big fan of Blitzy.
But yeah I'll hold off the final judgment until I see the full tank mode and I am sure that's not the finished jet mode

I'm anxious now to see if there are any other gimmicks. I want those guns on his robot mode back to flip forward like in the cartoon. I then want fire and ice colored projectiles to put in them.
I definately, carefully, will paint in some more black detail on at least the ice face.
I can't wait to see what the properly transformed alt modes will look like.
Unless what we see in that auction is a fourth alt mode that the crazy face changes in to.

I'm still in high hopes for this. Most eBay toys have been mistransformed, and I'm sure that with the instructions, it will form a more show accurate jet mode.

blitzwing is supposed to have the treads under the jet if you haven't watched the show at all.
