Electronic Bust of Movie Bumblebee to be released

A new character bust for Movie Bumblebee will be released Popbox Collectables.

This Bumblebee Bust is based off the Transformers Movie CGI render, an optional Battlemask, as well as light up eyes.



Highlights:
- Non-scale bust towers approximately 25 cm in height
- Comprising of over 40 separated parts
- Highly accurate movie realism & super detailed production
- Made from sturdy ABS plastic with die-cast metal components
- Transformable from normal to battle mode with dettachable face shield part
- Decorative BumbleBee sectioned part on Sector 7 shaped base
- Features light sensor activated light up LED eyes


There is no confirmed specific date for release, but the bust is expected to be released in the second Quarter of 2008, and will retail for US$139.95.

Agreed, Liege. Not even Ultimate BB had that feature, but that toy was kinda lame anyway.

Cool idea to start with. Hopefully they will do a Prime bust and improve on this one...it's kinda creepy lookin...

Would Love to see a Prime bust with a slide-into-place mask...

Agreed, I wouldn't spend even close to that. Busts just don't do it for me anyway.

I think Bumblebee lost some weight. Its a cool idea but i think a Prime one would be cooler. A talking Prime one with working battle mask would be sweet.

You know your right, I don't think they've goten the battle mask close to correct yet!?!

And Yeah, Ultimate BumbleBee is goofy looking and without even so much as a flip down face...

well gimick loaded as he was, he just seemed far from Ultimate to me.

Since it's still in the prototype stage, I do hope Hasbro corrects the unproportional look on this Bumblebee bust.

On their site they say they are working on a prime one, but no pics yet

I think that I will pass due to two things: 1) it is spooky and 2)too expensive for something that sits there and looks at you.

its Almost perfect all it needs is imporvement on the mouth, jaw its to skinny looking if they fix mouth i may get it but if it stays like the prototype iill definatly will not get itsince the mouth is still incomplete from the offical version in the film.

could be 20 to 30 dollars cheaper but i do like the eyes light up and the battle mask would great if the bust be made with the battle mask option.

if they make a bust for all the movie robots it be intersting to see on how they make battle mask option for jazz with his visor and all

edit there is going to be an optimus bust goinbg for 59.99 for its above the bumblebee bust on the site for $60 it may not be that big

It looks really disturbing with such a tall neck- if they fixed that it'd actually look pretty good. Also this thing's price has to be pretty steep- even for a bust.

And that, my friends, is why I dont buy them :[
