Jaw dropped when I saw this thread. PRE-ORDERED!!! I believe this one will end up being my favorite of the three. Just hope I can drop back and get Warcry And Flameblast once I get these guys......

Such a shame. Considering that it looks like this next set of figures don't have combination features like the previous ones, the sculpting is better thought out and the bulk better distributed.

Heck, it even looks good unpainted!

It even incoporates the clip on system for weapons at his legs in bot mode and on the back in alt mode. Very sick, definitely picking this up soon...

edit: Just checked http://www.fansproject.com/ and they have it listed as Stormshred..Either wat 2 of them will be mine but ..Whose name is whose

edit again: I just re-checked the site and I think BBTS messed up..in the bio BBTs posted it says he has sickles..I see now sickles. On the CA 04 who is supposed to be named "Thunderbomb" he has the sickles but the "Stormshred does not".. Im actually a little confused...Who the hell did I just pre-order

Still, it'll be nice to have some "classics" Insecticons. While there's tons of Autobots that have been remade, the Decepticons have decidedly few.

Thankyou Seibertron.com and El_Duque! I got a pair pre ordered! An insecticon swarm worth having! This one is actually my least favorite of the three, but thats like saying "This is the slowest Ferrari!" Can't wait for the rest!

That's funny...I thought they were cool enough as a kid, but think they're totally lame now. Still getting these, though. I'm sure they'll be cool figures regardless, and lame or not, they have a place in the ol' Classics collection.

I think BBTS just messed up..It's wierd beacuse the card they show actually says Thundershred but the FP website is different..Somebody got their lines crossed when they set up that page me thinks..

I can see BBTS just getting the name wrong when doing a product description, but with it being on the promotional artwork I have to think the name has changed. BBTS isn't going the go to the trouble of making new promo art, that would have came from FansProject. Doesn't really matter because in the end I'll be calling him Shrapnel, for now I'm just calling him pre-ordered!

If this is in fact released in June, we should be seeing color photos soon hopefully. C'mon Fansproject, update that there website o' yours.

That giant shuriken thing is frickin' AWESOME. Fansproject is fantastic at integrated weapons/accessories

This thing is pretty sweet. I don't like the open fists but as everyone has already said: Pre-ordered.

Be warned, it looks like Shrapnel isn't holding the blades, its just sorta resting on his hand from what can be seen. I hope i'm wrong.

Pre-ordered. Don't like the price hike though and noticed it's now applied to Warcry and Flameblast too - I got them for $44 2 weeks ago and they are now listed at $47. Someone at BBTS suddenly notice how desirable FP stuff is by any chance......?

Oh Fansproject, my wallet and common sense hate you, but damn, I'm Gay for your stuff.

Given that the promotional art matches the colors of the original Insecticons, I would say these are gonna be the Neo-Insecticons!!. I would have bought all three at once on sight. They compliment Warcry and Flameblast.

Off Topic:
Eventhough I only have Munitioner and Explorer, Flameblast and Warcry look so much better, I want the Superlink or E-Bruticus and make me a faux Battle Gaia. I like where this is going and they will be scout size. Seeing we paid $80 for Deluxe Springer, this is a no brainer they will be scout size.

But even as a scout, Flameblast is menacing, so is Explorer.

I heard that these will be a one-run production of this line. Is there any proof to this?

I think I'd like him better if he wasn't Shrapnel, he looks too chunky to be Shrapnel in my opinion, not that I don't like chunky robots I just don't think it suits Shrapnel,though, I'd be lying if I said he didn't look drop-dead gorgeous.

DAMN! Cant get it just yet, have to wait due to vacation close to that release date!! Plus, i really wanna see the color scheme first? maybe by the time i get back they'll have another pre-order up and i can order both?

$50 EACH? I was hoping the price would be closer to $100 for the whole set, like the PE-11 Camera Set. As awesome as these figures are (and they look REALLY awesome), I don't think they're worth $50.

Yep, in this case bigger would not mean better.

I like this pic from Robotkingdom. Another less imposing mode of the shuriken (he can hold it better), and the previous extended parts make gauntlets (as we have seen before). The weapons on this figure alone gives you a lot of different configurations. I like how you can even make them swords. FansProject always FTW!

I pre-ordered. Does anyone see the posibility of deluxe insecticon repaints ??? Or maybe this is their intention since the actual colors have not been shown ??? Chopshop for this guy, plus Ransack and Barrage ??? Obviously no Venom.

we've already seen the promo art with the more well known Insecticon colours, but I could see them doing the Deluxe Insecticons as repaints, since they're quite different paint jobs. This might be why the designs don't look quite as much like either set of Insecticons as perhaps they could have.

I have all the insecticons and i'll be MORE than happy to scoop this masterpiece up without hesitation to add to the roster.

Chop Shop paint job will work nicely for this guy. Maybe it actually is meant to be a deluxe instead of one of the original three.

We'll never know till we see some colours. It most certainly will be black and purple but it would be a nice twist if they went the Chop Shop route and added a twist to the plot.
