Well, no. You collect codes and enter them into the site. The site saves how many you enter until you use them. When you decide to use them, you go to the page that has all the prizes. Click on a prize and you can type in how many of your codes you want to use to try and win that specific prize.

It's really nice that they list the number of entrants into each prize so you can see which ones you will have better odds of winning.

Remember though, if you enter, say 5 codes for one drawing, they are only valid for the day that you enter them. The next day is a completely new drawing, so a little strategy is involved to improve your odds.

a) Glad I don't need to worry about winning one seeing I already have Pepsi Convoy.
b) Also glad that the stacks & the Pepsi logo arm patch is different so there is an actual difference between Pepsi Prime and Pepsi Convoy.

Do you think that Pepsi Prime will be mass released in the US? Available at Target or Wal-Mart eventually.

Hmmm, shame I'm a Coke man. Though I may consider Pepsi to get my hands on this.

This would be really nice if the damn bottles were actually available in my area. They shouldn't have made the site live until EVERYBODY could get the bottles.

It's a shame this isn't a robot points redemption kind of program like I had hoped for. I would pay shipping and handling and a few bucks plus bottle caps for this guy. I'd like to own it but not at the prices for the Takara version. I know it isn't expensive. It's just more than I'd reasonably pay. I do like it, I just dislike the whole daily random drawing nonsense.

So they won't be selling this in stores? I'd buy it before any of the movie prime toys.

Sorry, Wreck-Gar...I'm not gonna be a pepper for awhile.

Looks like I'll be guzzling a lot of Pepsi this summer. Honestly I can't tell any noticeable difference between it and Coke; cola is cola to me.

SWEET. Why is this a prize? It should be like the coke rewards. Or you should be able to buy it. Im gonna wind up drinking a shit load of pepsi and not getting a damn thing for it.

Any ideas as to who did the box art? Can't say it looks too bad, though the wheels behind the hips is a little odd.

It would have been really cool if they did an mp prime or the 20th aniiversary one with a in the pepsi styling and had a tralier to match, then it would be something original and not just a rehash from a few years back

I like the box and bottle artwork (along with the toy itself), but I already have the Pepsi Convoy reissue that was released recently. I wouldn't mind owning a US version though...

Note the Classics-styled box, thus making it something else for the Classics completists to freak out about and MUST-HAVE, or debate on whether it counts as a "true Classic" or a "same packaging, but not really a Classic" figure ad nauseum.

I'd definitely "roll for it," but as I don't drink soda regularly, it'd take a while. I assume that jumping on this early with multiple codes would aid in success.
Re: First Images of "Transform Your Summer" Pepsi Prime! (121081)
Posted by Bed Bugs on May 14th, 2007 @ 2:12pm CDT
As of 2:00 PM Central time, there are 429 entries in the Pepsi Prime drawing with only 100 to go around for today.

I really wish that it stated how many individual people are actually in the drawing though (If you win 1, then all your entries into that drawing disappear).

Just to give you an example, I entered 6 codes into this drawing. So if I win one, that takes the competition down to 423.

I vote for "same packaging, but not really a Classic". It's a contest prize, not really an exclusive to a con or store that one can buy (outside of eBay, that is).

Actually, I never really saw much of a question as to the figure's "line classification." It's just a unique figure that can be won in a contest. I personally don't care how people view it. For me, it's a trophy from Mountain Dew/Pepsi! B-)

I just saw the opening for discussion and I took it.

Since Mountain Dew is the one that shown on the site and alot of the prizes are dew related it would have been cool if they painted it with the "dew" styling rather thatn pepsi prime. Jut to make it a little different.

It would have been a bunch cheaper to do it that way than to get this figure in its original box from Action HQ, huh?

I'm glad I did spend that $70 though. The drawing set up here says to me that there's no guarantee that you actually can get the figure, because you would have to actually be one of the people who actually win the drawing to get it.

I'd still try though, just to have an American release of Pepsi Convoy.

It just occurred to me that the drawing of Pepsi Prime on the front of the box looks kinda like Powermaster Optimus Prime. Anyone else thinking this, or is it just me?

I wonder if Pepsi will be doing a similar promotion outside of the US. As far as prizes go, the Pepsi Prime is not bad at all.

No it's not bad at all, it's really cool. I've already got Pepsi Convoy but I wanna try winning this anyway.
