First Look at Miner Megatron and Possible Voyager Junkion

We have images of 2 interesting generations type toys that have just been leaked onto the internet. Both these figures are either in production or undergoing review in China, which is when we get leaks like on this site. However, unlike the Prime toys we previously posted, one of these isn't as far along in production.

Below you will see images of a the Siege Megatron toy in a miner deco (like when he was chilling with his buddy Impactor in the café) as well as what is believed to be the voyager class Junkion figure we'll get in Legacy. The plastic used is test shot plastic though, so not the final colours/deco. And there's no head on either of them. Let us know if these interest you.

The Junkion has molded chains wrapped around its forearms that kinda make it look like a prisoner.

It also has little dual-blasters sticking out from its wrists, Wolverine-claw-style.

Whatever its name turns out to be, it looks like a pretty tough customer built for war.

Really hoping they use the alternate Megatron head that was on the Arctic Camo Deco Megs. It resembles the character moreso than the typical one we see on this mold.

Yeah, would really be best.

So it turns out the insect legs on Legacy Shrapnel, which can double as blasters, are not symetrical. They are instead two slightly different molds with distinct numbers molded onto them and the chance for them to be mismatched is possible since they look almost identical (just like how few people initially noticed that their POTP voyager Elita 1 feet were missassembled). The review below from Chuckdawg1999 highlights what a metched set looks like and the numbered combinations for a matched set.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Legacy Evolution continues the updates to the Insecticons with Shrapnel. Shrapnel is a solid toy all around, with fun transformation, and a solid insect mode. I find myself enjoying the figure more than I did Kickback. If you see Shrapnel, grab one to complete your Insecticon collections.

Mine's mismatched, didn't notice it until chuckdawg's video. Doesn't bother me enough to do an exchange EVEN IF there's one to be found at GameStop Canada where I ordered mine. Just not gonna happen at my only local brick & mortar, and it's out of stock online.

Well, I see Shrapnel already has 2 different 3P upgrade kits on ebay, one of which address this issue with articulated bug legs that free up the official ones to be back- mounted guns, but I think we can look forward to a 3rd 3P weapon set that replaces them with guns more accurate to some of his fictional appearances that can also tack onto the official splinter-grenade launcher.

Thanks for the warning, Chuck! Since the 3 non-Deluxe Insecticons are also inherent troop-builders, a lot of collectors might just keep buying until they get matched legguns, and not be in a hurry to resell or trade, so his price could indeed skyrocket-rocket.

Looks like that Junkion is all twisted around. The truck front makes the chest while the legs and forearms are backwards. Looks like maybe a dump truck or a garbage truck?

I thought I was done with that Megatron mold, but a miner version using the alternate head they should have used on SG Megatron would sell me on it again.

They really love that Seige Megatron mold, don't they? I'm surprised the thing isn't cheese by now.

I think that's right. Or put another way, the shot of the back should have the torso and shoulders flipped around, but everything else is right. They missed the torso twist and then moved the forearms to face the other way. I think a dump truck is the more likely alt mode based on the wheels, legs, and other visual cues, but that's just a guess.

ANOTHER Siege Megatron repaint/remold? Man alive, are they ever going to let that one go? This may put it into contention among the most re-used mold in recent Transformers history.

For Legacy Shrapnel's gun/leg accessories: Like many others, I was living in blissful ignorance until this difference was pointed out. That is kind of subtle and I can see how it could be overlooked. It's a small enough thing that it can be ignored, unless you're the kind who is annoyed by any lack of symmetry.

Thing is, if you are one of the (seemingly many) unfortunates who have fallen victim to this mis-matching, what can you DO about it? Will Hasbro send out replacement parts if you contact them? Or will you have to send the whole figure back, and they'll send you out another, and risk them doing the same thing all over again? We know what the problem is, but affected persons don't have a solution.

Perhaps Seibertron could set up an "exchange" thread, wherein people who have these mis-matched accessories can compare them, find compatible mis-matches, and arrange swaps online? If it'll start the ball rolling, my Shrapnel figure has two copies of the "4" stamped leg/gun accessories. If there's anyone out there who needs to swap out a "2" or a "3" copy of theirs, and get a "4" replacement? Let me know and I'll arrange for my minions to make the trade!

My solution is to not care, that's a nearly universal solution. Though like Jason Mendoza's Molotov cocktails, sometimes that's just because not caring creates a new problem.

Not seeing the actual dump body, though it's hard to tell what the stuff on his back unfolds into. At the same time we haven't seen his weapons, they could be garbage truck lifts. Either way, it's safe to say he's some sort of heavy machinery.

TF Tuesday official Nemesis Titan Revealed:

https://www.ign.com/articles/transforme ... sis-figure

The article posted a little over an hour ago and states it is up for pre-order on Pulse. But my guess is pre-orders probably wont open for a few more minutes starting around 9am PDT/12pm PDT (about 8 minutes from this post)

Not a fan of the robot mode. Looks a little too spindly (just how hollow are the backs of those legs?)
Though I suppose they were limited by the alt mode which looks good, and unlike The Ark, at least she has weapons for her robot mode.

Coming in hot this Tuesday morning, we have some big news to share-literally! Legacy Titan Class Nemesis is finally revealed in all her purple glory. Via an article on IGN, we get several official product shots, showcasing the largest Decepticon toy and female Transformer ever produced. According to the article, she stands right around 23 1/2 inches, which puts her a couple of inches taller than Earthrise Scorponok (and his Black Zarak retool). She's shown in ship mode as well, faithfully recreating the look of the Decepticon flagship from the G1 cartoon. We even get a look at her box art, which shows her EvoFusion gimmick of having parts of her shins and ship mode wings being able to detach and form weapons for her to wield.

As of this writing, she hasn't been put up for preorder anywhere just yet. We'll be sure to post links to preorders as they come up.

And as promised, she is now up for preorder at all the usual online stores, as well as Hasbro Pulse.

What do you all think of the newest Titan? Are you making room for her in your collection? Let us know your thoughts below!

She looks very nice, I will definitely be getting her, but I may try my luck at finding one at brick-and-mortar retail instead of pre-ordering.

I also like the look of that Voyager Junkion, I don't have any of the Junkions yet, but depending on the Voyager's final look I may track down Scraphook and Crashbar and have a Junkion trio.

Also, I got a shipping notice for Dirge today, he'll be with me by the end of this week. I look forward to having him again.

Damn, she's SWEET!
And in both modes.

Also, am I the only one seeing this?

Nice. Titans take up a lot of space, but I'll make room for Nemesis. I'm glad they dispensed with the "3rd mode" of a base on these - those always seem to suck up engineering from the other modes and make them sub-par.

That said - the thighs are really short compared to the shins, it looks kind of like she's on stilts. The protrusions from the shoulders are kind of high, but I guess they thought they had to do it this way to preserve the ship's silhouette.

And she may be taller than other Titans, but she's also a hekkuvva lot skinnier...
