Takara Tomy designer Hisashi Yuki has updated his Twitpic account with our first color look at their upcoming version of Titan Class Metroplex! This version features a more detailed deco and comes with two of the large red guns. Check him out below.

huh? What's different about the face paint? Can't see a difference in the crappy low res photos floating around the web.

The difference in details is astounding.

If I had the funds, I'd order this on the spot. But I don't, so I'm gunna have to wait for the Hasbro release.

From what I could remember, you could buy to Hasbro ones for the extra red blaster, then pitch the second metroplex and STILL come out ahead of buying the Takara one. :KREMZEEK:

If Metroplex is indeed the SDCC exclusive, though, that might change things entirely...

A different deco of Metroplex is this year's SDCC exclusive. We just don't know what the deco is.

But is the extra paint really worth another 100 to 130 dollars more then the Hasbro version... i just cant seem to sell my self on it.

Well, you gotta keep in mind import prices and shipping. Plus, extra gun, tee-wee bit more expensive. ;)

I trust that there are better paint apps on the Takara version as they tend to do that, but I really can't see too much with the low res photo.

I pre-ordered him anyway, but still I am questioning my decision. Its alot of money, but he keeps saying he must heed the call of the last prime and I must make it so!
