TFC Toys has updated their facebook page with the first look of Mad Blender that resembles the Constructicons member Mixmaster.
The image is the CGI of Mad Blender in alternate form as well as the 3rd mode that form the left leg of Hercules.
No image of Mad Blender's robot mode is available at the moment.

In alt. mode the front looks way too boxy.

I guess makeing parking lots, sidewalks, and driveways is way more dangerous then I thought as this thing looks like an armored cement truck from the front.

I'm hoping a windshield and maybe a painted bumper will help define this alternate mode. Not that it really matters to me because he will almost always be a leg.....

Agreed. Even if they angled the windshield back a little, I think that would help. Wouldn't mind a larger cement drum as well. And why so many wheels???

Considering how long we've waited to see these last two units, I can't say I'm blown away.

Yuck. Glad I'm skipping this whole thing for FansProject's Crossfire 3.

I like what i see but the colours are a bit odd.

The purple in the middle of the altmode looks out of place as well as the grey parts on top of the cab. The cab itself looks very detailed but needs a bumper, black painted windows and the cement drum, it would look better being silver or at least more of a metallic colour than what it is now. Though i woulden't mind if it were green.

Then again this is a rendering so perhaps the final product will have all this.

Are we yet certain this is going to be a Superion Appendage styled upgrade for classics Devy? Has there been some develops?

No, as far as I know FansProject's next combiner set will Menasor. I doubt they want to get in on the current Devy war.

I am a little surprised that they didn't go with a more modern cement mixer. I haven't seen one that tilts up in the back on the road in years, it's only the ones where the drum tilts over the cab. I understand that it is more G1 and probably easier to design for leg mode, but still a bit surprised.

I've been wondering if MakeToys' Build was originally Crossfire 03. I mean, at the start of the year FansProject listed their upcoming products which included Crossfire 03 and Causality figures 06 and 07: products we haven't even heard mentioned since. Then MakeToys appears (seemingly with connections to FansProject) and debuts Build, Hover and Bomber: figures that could fit these titles.

It's just a theory.

If FP is spreading work about Maketoys' Devestator why would they undercut them by making add ons for Classics Devestator?

Until FP gives us a sketch or something I'm just not going to think they're making those add-ons.

I would bet a TFC Hercules that FP doesn't do an upgrade for that POS 'Classics' Devastator.

First impressions are Mad Blender might be the weakest figure of the set, but it still looks plenty acceptable. This thing will likely be the most awesome piece in a collection. Hope there aren't (m)any delays...

Nothing official but the info came out of BotCon. I came by it in a post by Venksta (aka Renderform) on another board.

Precisely. Wait, what?! Truth be told I think we've both misunderstood what the other was saying somewhere along the line, so let's just draw a line under that one. ;)

When Venkta speaks I listen, especially when it comes to third party stuff. ;)

Let's just all keep our fingers crossed! I want a new Menasor in the worst way.

Turns out it is a cement truck made by a Chinese manufacturer, so I guess the guys at TFC see 8 wheeler cement trucks around the roads.

That's the last thing I'd be concerned about. The color will match all the others and it looks fine in person.

Methinks someone's been doing a bit of photoshopping to justify an inaccurate altmode?

O.O weird, no I didn't photoshop that, I just grabbed the best pic of one of those 8 wheelers I could find. I didn't photoshop these either:

8 wheeled cement mixers may exist, but they look nothing like this. The cab and bed are huge and the drum is tiny. It just looks ridiculous. I'm sure they had to make compromises for the sake of the robot mode, but it ruins it for me. Very glad I passed on the rest of the set.

Really?

I'm no expert on image comparison but this:

seem pretty much relative to me

The cab is a bit longer in the TFC version, but that in itself is a G1 homage. The 8 wheelers appear to be the largest available kind of mobile concrete mixer, so they are trying to keep in 'scale' best they can. The concrete mixer was always going to be the toughest part on that front. I did not see many of that kind of concrete truck in the US, mainly the strange, backwards, over the cab kind, but the G1 style mixer is standard here in NZ. I think TFC were rather cunning in their design, that being said, I want to see a purple or green drum, not a black one, and I would like a nice homage in robot mode.

So the layout of one of the 6 figures ruined it for you? Really? That's all it takes?

Well in that case, let me be the voice of the people. "eh hem. NO ONE WILL HAVE ANY OF THESE FIGURES IN VEHICLE MODE." Either MISB (self loathing group I think  jk) which is robot mode OR combined.

Probably just a defense mechanism for not being able to get these incredible figures for whatever reason...can't really blame the guy. I'd probably be trying to convince myself that I was better off any way I could if I couldn't get them, too.

Based on previous CGI renderings of these figures, it's safe to say that the colors are not final for the Mad Blender CGI... They probably made it black to see what feedback they get from the fandom on what we prefer... green or purple... I hope it's purple!

That's a good thought, on testing honest feedback.

Many years from now when your sad looking at pics of this long desired, probably 1 run epic release, please remember that it was 1/2 0f 1/6 of the set that made you say "not me" Hope Make Toys does it better for you.

I for one am very pleased with myself that I got on this bandwagon at the ground floor and not setting myself up for regret like with City Commander.

I agree. I believe the robot mode should always be superior. Mine will most like be in combined mode the vast majority of the time once I have all 6 anyway.
