First Look at Transformers Kingdom leaders Galvatron and T-Wrecks

Posted by william-james88 Mar 15, 2021 at 2:01pm CDT 57,251 views
Hasbro will be showing off some new toys in April but of course, some terrible images just had to be posted online before the big reveal. In the image below we can see some parts of Transformers Kingdom leader Galvatron and even less parts for the upcoming T-Wrecks, which is a redeco of Kingdom Beast Wars Megatron. That redeco was said to be part of the Transformers Selects line but there has been no confirmation of that so far.
The two images were posted in different places online and were taken down as well but as of now they are still up on Autobase Aichi.

Galvatron is the wave 3 leader for the Kingdom line and will likely be out in late summer.

Wasn't his head the same as Meg's?

Sort of, I believe it was a grinning variation of the regular Megs head, on par with the differences in the standard or smirking seeker head.

nope, he was a straight repaint, however this one should have a different head. Supposedly it should be the grimacing vintage bw megs (does anyone else cringe and feel old calling beast wars vintage now?) face, which a few off kingdom megatrons seemed to get by accident.

I really want to see more of galvatron. looks like he has sculpted wheels on his hip skirts. maybe hes got a full on tank mode as opposed to the cannon?

T-Wrecks's toy may have had the same head as Megatron, but since that head was so different in the cartoon, T-Wrecks' fictional appearances drew his head toy-accurately with the mutant head pieces included as an optional battle mask for him, something that Kingdom Megatron's head lacks.

Sorry, I should have clarified I was speaking on what the leaks have indicated we would be getting on the new figures, not the original toys or show. We've seen the head variant on a leader megs already.

Looks like they're going for show accuracy with Galvatron like they did with Cyclonus. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

But in any case, up yours Hanna. Kingdom Roddy is a lot more solid, he has a lot more invested in the engineering and mass.
Plus, y'know, there's this whole not-inconsequential essential part of him:

 So many of you people have been paying through the nose for 3P figures for their extra crap and lack of hollowness and all that for years and chanting their praises for making "better Transformers," and how dare anyone complain about the aesthetics of some of them. You demand quality, you pay a premium for quality... And yet the second Hasbro dares to make an accordingly-expensive ultra-premium toy, it's "charging $80 for a Voyager." You're complete and total smegheads. :BANG_HEAD: :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM:

The point is well taken.

Roddy is up for pre-order on AmiAmi and Anime-Export

https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail?scode ... 4625&rank=
https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=51344

And it seems Takara's pricing is a bit higher. 14,300 yen. discounted for pre-order to 9980 yen by AmiAm and 9100 Yen by Anime Export

Not sure I'm willing to pay 140 bucks for Roddy. That's MP pricing now.

If Hasbro's MSRP is indeed $80, I'll get it. but not paying anything over $100 bucks.

Heckin bamboozled
But they're still both commanders (; so the price point stays winning, zoo-wee-mama!

I will reserve judgment until the full figure is revealed, but so far I'm not impressed by Galvatron. Looks way to brickish. Reminds me of the G1 figure. But we'll see.

Kingdom Ultra Mag can use his trailer as a battle station. They remolded his shoulder pylons and they have a 5mm post on top.
