Doesn't look like Shinji to me... I don't get the new deco on Spike. It seems to make no sense. You'd think Shinji would be an easy recolor. Spike even already has an open shirt. Give him black hair, color the shirt white, make his pants dark. Maybe if they want to go the extra mile, a splash of dark color above the open collar to simulate the undershirt Shinji wears.
But this thing? What is it? Doesn't look like Shinji. Doesn't look like a NERV uniform, so it isn't a random NERV mook. It is like someone took a Spike, randomly painted it up, and said, "Hey, I think this looks cool! Any new MP-10 decos coming up we can throw this in?"

I am a big fan of Evangelion but this redeco has no place in my heart nor collection. A remold of the Prime's head and painting Spike to look like Shinji should have been the bare minimum.
Adding Evangelion weapons would have been good, along with stickers to add inside Prime's trailer to make it look more like NERV.
And giving Prime a tether that attached to the trailer would have enhanced the figure.

they've got a lot of nerv making ridiculous repaints like this. Though I wouldn't mind them making nice with Bandai just long enough to give us a MSG recolor of prime I can cart around an MG gundam in...

It is a random NERV guy; it's just one of the technicians that put the railgun together or maintain the Evas. It's an approximation of the jackets worn by that division.
