Anyone reading this a Pops fan? Well if you are, then you'll love this news. We now have images from Funko themselves about the set made for the Transformers Rise of the Beasts film. However, they are based on older designs, which is most apparent with Mirage and Primal. Let us know if you will be getting any.

Well, these look like an upgrade from previous POPs! Never collected them, even for properties that have no other toy representation, because the big, all-black eyes make it look like thousands of celebrities and fictional characters had their eyes gouged out and replaced with buttons by the witch from Coraline, but these bot sure bucked the trend, and Arcee looks pretty tempting...on sale at least.

Me neither. I'm not a fan of a collection of figures that have all the same face.

By that point, they are already bought, the question was why they were bought in the first place. They are a really cheap investment if that's the goal.

Oh yeah, at the very basis, they are cheap.
But now, there's so much and so many duplicate characters that some stores are overwhelmed. Some even had stopped ordering new stock like my local geek store. Funko even had to bury a few million$ of stock à la E.T for Atari cartridges!

Like, how many Mando Childs does one need? But still, new Funko are still appearing. Are the Funko Pop market imploding à la Beanie Babies or not? :-?

Our previous news of Transformers Rise of the Beasts Funko Pops had no traction and mainly negative comments. So we get it, most of the TF fans community does not like Pops. But, what if I told you one of the Rise of the Beasts Pops was ... an exclusive? That's right, Rhinox, who is in his beast mode looking rather cute, will be a Target exclusive. You can see the images below.

We have some good news and bad news. The good news is that two new Takara exclusive Transformers figures have been unveiled. The bad news is that they will be very hard for people to obtain as they are linked to a national level promotion.

The figures revealed are Transformers Studio Series SS-EX Nemesis Prime and Kingdom KD-EX Burning Optimus Primal, who is based off of the Burning Convoy deco we've had before for Primal toys in Japan.

These two figures are tied to a promotion where you can buy these toys when you buy a ticket for the Rise of the Beasts movie through Loppi for a total of 7330 Yen. The promotion is from June 1st to August 3rd and the toys will be delivered after, January 4, 2024. You can get more info on that here.

Japanese fans can bypass this for Primal who should also be available at the HMV website (wow HMV exclusive, takes me back) for 5940 Yen.

No news for any release outside of Japan, though they may be available on e-bay or through collector shops in limited quantities like previous promotional exclusives (remember Transformers Adventure Dogfight?).

Exactly my thoughts too. Even the pose is MLP.

Could've at least change to a front-facing, charging pose... It's what we've seen in every trailers so far!
