Ah excellent, their heads are on balljoints. That'll make it easier to pop them off and replace them!

Seriously, the figures look sweet, but those heads have to go.

So, both of them have a powerful punch, huh? That's good because an unarmed Transformer sucks, even the Bumper battlers have weapons :lol:

That's why I haven't bothered myself in obtaining Universe Hotshot, he only has a Minicon THAT DOES NOTHING and instead I bought Movie Breakaway and Fracture, unfortunately I missed Crankcase and I haven't found him again.
Talking about weapons, Cyclonus would be useless if Nightstick though about taking a vacation, I can imagine him crying.

In conclusion, wow, Skids and Mudflap aren't that bad, and I like them.

That Mudflap gallery sold me on the figure, I was a bit tentative to get it. But after looking at the bio, and it's pictures alongside Skids, i gotta say, If I already have Skids, then it looks like I just have to have Mudflap.

Great galleries as usual. Really makes me wish my Skids had painted teeth. Question for anyone though, since I don't know where my instructions are right now. Is Mudflap mistransformed in bot mode in the galleries? Only thing I can go by is how mine looks and the back of the package images, but isnt his back suppost to be higher?

Great galleries! After the site redesign, it's good to see the site back to its roots: great figure galleries. As for these, I prefer the HA versions over these... but the sad thing is it looks like both of these guys more pose potential and are better proportioned (except for the ape arms) than the upcoming Alternity BB for 1/5th the price. I hope I'm wrong though.

can someone please tell me why skids has painted teeth? every store i've been to, all of the skidses have regular, unpainted green teeth.

It's a variant. And I'd be very interested in finding out if there's a way to spot this variant.

Actually, I think he's mistransformed in the instructions, because I was able to transform my Mudflap to look like the gallery. (Thanks, Ryan.)

Love the pics as usual! I showed these to my daughters, who love Transformers figures and one said, "eeeew! what happened to their faces!?" and the other said, "that is the ugliest Transformer I have ever seen!" and unfortunately I had to agree.

I really like the car and bot modes but feel repulsed every time I look at the faces! I have been trying to think of a way to repaint or re-MELT them to get them to look better but so far, nothing. So, does anybody know of any alternate heads that can be used on Skids and Mudflap? When I think of Autobots I think of the words "sleek & cool" not "reek & drool" so any surgical ideas would be appreciated!

You can see the teeth if you look through the windshield or the side window. Once you see one that's got the painted teeth, it's easy to spot. The painted teeth version is the prominent one at stores in Chicago.

I'll be damned if I could figure out Mudflap's back in robot mode. The instructions weren't very clear and how I have it wasn't very stable. Perhaps check out the YouTube video reviews. Maybe one of the reviewers can shed some light on how Mudflap's back is supposed to be transformed.

I think you have to fold up the winshield and hood like you have, then connect the tab at the back of the head to the hole on the back. I don't think it's any more stable, but it looks correct as far as I can tell.

Are you planning on getting the second variant of Mudflap that has his rear license plate changed from "Trax" to "Mudflap"?

Looking at how he's transformed in the gallery, I actually prefer him in that way. The back kibble doesn't stick out as much.
