only $50 for two repainted mini-cons? Where do I preorder? [/sarcasm]

I want Starscream but i cant spend that kind of money on one figure. Why couldnt hasbro have come up with the idea.

It's Voltar, if you're assuming the "b" is being a "v" which is fair. Literally it's Bo (or Vo), Ru (or Lu, or R, or L) Taa. So Boltar, Bortar, Bolutar, Borutar, Voltar, Vortar, Vorutar or Volutar could all be argued to be correct. Isn't Japanese fun?

I preordered Starscream, but I hoep to get him through my SIL in Japan.

Starscream looks great !!! But for 90 bucks he better transform and fly by himself. I just dont get how the value of plastic can jump up from $12.99 to $90.00 ??? I applaud all who choose not to buy these overpriced japanese versions of the Universe line. If demand were to decrease to a minimum, they might start selling units for 25 bucks plus shipping. Im sticking to the wal-mart line.

@ RatedX. It's the Law of Supply and Demand. Limited run, high demand and you astronomical prices, same with the red Alternity, high demand despite normal supply and you get.............

Show me proof that low production run numbers, with import fees attached, which required purchase of Japanese source material and a Japanese mailing address don't run up the price.

I love how the moment the cost of a product is released now, especially from the third party sellers, some automatically assume that it's high because Takara and the online vendors are greedy and we're gullible.

I don't agree with such people but when you see a $12 figure for $90 it's easy to jump to the conclusion that someone, somewhere is laughing their way to the bank.
