After I did the opening ceremonies for the ride, Steven Spielberg walked up to me and chatted and said 'You know we've got you set to do the fourth one and probably the fifth one on the heels of that," said on how he was approached about the new sequels. "So, I guess in December we are on our way to making 4 and 5.

It's a little worrisome, actually. But at least Transformers has a long enough history that it will, hopefully, survive when the movies inevitably fail.

Sure, I've considered that he escaped like those few soldiers being pursued by Scorponok. But considering Blackout was sure to send Scorponok to destroy the video camera evidence and any of the other witnesses, I'm quite certain that Blackout himself would've killed all the soldiers there on the base. Especially after this particular soldier axed the power line to the computer from which Blackout was uploading that US military data. That should've pissed Blackout off big time, leaving him with the only choice but to decimate the area.

He played a different character. They mentioned that in the video.

As for Spielberg, I'm not sure I want him anywhere near the TF director's seat. It was his idea to limit the budget for a movie whose main appeal is CGI robots. He also insisted on centering the plot on Sam and his antics, probably so that the story downplayed the TF as much as possible to save on CGI cost.
To be honest, it's still early days for TF4. I'll save my judgement for the final product, but I just hope they don't end up bringing Shia back. Not that he was a bad actor or anything, but I'm tired of the same comedy routine. I'd like to see a more badass protagonist from now. Hell, just make Lennox and/or Epps the hero this time.

I don't think that's really believable (giant alien robots is btw).
It's like The Human Torch and Captain America... only not so high profile.
Anyway, a fifth movie?
Doesn't matter, I'll end up seeing it 3 times in cinemas and buy the whole on-screen
toyline anyway

Morshower has appeared in the Transformers live action movie franchise twice as two different characters. He appeared in the first Transformers film as Colonel Sharp and as General Morshower in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Shame, he was one of the cast I actually quite liked.

but while its been a while since i've seen it, i swear he's in Part 3 as well. like somewhere in the background during some of the "homebase" stuff. maybe i'm wrong but yeah.

Is he that amazing that Bay wanted to break believability by having the same face on two people? At the very least, would make for better writing if one character was the bro/cousin of the other...

Tell me the two roles at least LOOKED differently. One had an evil eye patch and mustache, right?

He's in DOTM, too. He was the one who established that nothing could get through the ring of Decepticon ships over Chicago.
