How To Tell Which Transformers Series 2 Tiny Turbo Changer Is In A Blind Bag Using Codes

It can be tricky to get the figure you want from a blind bag. There is a small window that will let you see the color of the toy, but if the lighting is off or two figures are of a similar color this can be troublesome. The best way to know for sure which figure you are getting is to check the embossed code.

Luckily, TFW 2005 Boards Member Hungover Rover has posted a complete list of codes which tell us who is inside each blind bag. Embossed means it is stamped in the plastic so look closely and you should find it. The embossed letter should be on the rear of the bag near the Hasbro logo.

If you are looking for Series 1 Tiny Turbo codes, this article has you covered.

Transformers: The Last Knight Tiny Turbo Changers Series 2 Identification Codes:

A – Shockwave
B – Megatron
C – Berserker
D – Cogman
E – Bumblebee
F – Sqweeks
G – Chopter
H – Barricade
I – Optimus Prime
J – Starscream
N – Drift
P – Hot Rod

I have just unboxed Leader Prime and Megatron (Premier editions, whatever that means).

Megatron is the clear winner, placing them side by side you wouldn't think they were from the same line. In robot mode Megatron looks a bit like a model kit until you get close. I really like the the worn look he has. Minimal kibble, all he really has is the cape. I wish the arm cannon was smaller. Hi jet mode looks great from the top and side but the underneath is a mess.

Prime's robot mode on the other hand looks more toy like with his bright, clean colours. I think it has fewer paint apps that the previous version of this design. I don't like the ratchets in his arms, he is either stood to attention or has his arms angled a little too far out. I like the legs and feet, they make him nice and stable. I think his truck mode is great though, if a little flimsy at the rear.

It merely refers to the normal, non-simplistic toys like Deluxes, Voyagers, Leaders, etc.

Also encompasses legion figures and store exclusives that do include simplistic figures.

It's comparable to the Generations range to AoE, without it being part of Generations. ;)

They even kept the code letter between waves.

The ones in the Walmart I go in Orange City don't have coded letters to look for, and you have to guess by looking at like trademark writing. When I got that Bumblebee that broke, I noticed before I opened it that there was something about Chevrolet Camero; and sure enough, it was Bumblebee. Now the two I saw in Walmart the last time I was there, which was a week ago last Tuesday said diesel truck; and since I already have the crash combiner Optimus Prime and the Legends class Optimus Prime that I showed a picture of earlier, I didn't see the need to get one that's probably a re something of the Bumblebee that could wind up breaking on me like Bumblebee did. Now Barricade who turns into a pig car might be one I'll get. I had have the comic book store hold issues back because my bill would've been $50; and it may be higher next month because there's a Green Lantern crossover miniseries with Planet of the Apes, so I have to hold off on buying Transformers that are expensive until after the last Wednesday in July. Does Barricade have a different transformation than Bumblebee, and will it say police car, or the actual type of the car. If it's the type of the car, what will it be? I don't want to get one and find out it's Prowl because then I know I won't want to look for Barricade, and I already have a couple Prowls, and one's a little triple changer with a little gun as a third mode. That was one of the mini-cons when they were doing those.

Does it? I never saw it on the boxes. The premier edition is only written on the deluxes, voyagers and leaders as far as I can tell.

Also Ravage X, the reason the two leaders seem to be from different lines is because they are. That Optimus is from the Age of Extinction line when they were trying to simplify and streamline transformations. They reused the mold for TLK but it doesnt come from it, unlike Megatron which originates from this toyline.

I was partially right. Infernocus, a legion 5 pack, doesn't have it, but the Optimus 2 pack, Skullitron, and deluxe Megatron has it, but cybertron, the autobots unite non deluxe, and legion 2 packs are not premiere edition.

We have new stock images for One Step Cogman from Transformers: The Last Knight. These are of the final product so it gives us the best idea of what to expect in terms of deco from this toy. It was found on the Smyths Toys website. Thanks to Seibertronian Scotty P for the tip.
