So far no one has been able to pick those up since Gamestop always refuses a sale when the street date comes up on their computers.

I'll admit, that's not terrible. The entire top of the car mode is on a single joint that makes it super easy to swap out for something more accurate, or to just change the center part out for one with a way to make the spoiler section easier to detach. Probably wouldn't hurt to replace the arms with something more accurate and replace the portion of the lower legs with the pipes. Yeah, parts sharing with Hot Rod is definitely possible.
Not sure what they'd be able to do with Sureshot, not a lot of buggies in the line.

I had a similar idea, but involving a lot more swapping of parts. As for Sureshot: new mold, with Joyride as his retool. Problem solved

Sure, that'd work, we need more Powermasters. Heck, they wouldn't really have to retool it much.

TFW2005 user NeilJam managed to find a Sky Shadow straight off the Toys R Us truck in Pittsburgh, PA today, confirming that the leader class figure for wave 4 has started to appear in stores in the US. You can find the original sighting here. With this sighting in mind, head on out and continue your search for new figures, as new Titans Return and Last Knight toys are springing up everywhere like spring flowers! Remember to post your sightings in our Sightings section as well!

When Transforming him you need to push the knees full bent from the underside when putting him in vehicle mode if you don't the side won't peg in properly. just that mil or two flex on the knee stop the vehicle tabbing together - it drove me nuts too until I realised what the cause was.

Anyway, all the talk on this thread about Pointblank has got me hyped to see what the rest of wave 6 consists of. I'm guessing the Deluxes are Sureshot, Crosshairs and Pointblank, along with the Slugslinger we already know of, but has there been any news or rumours about Voyagers or Leaders? I can't really remember what that leaked list from the podcast said now.

Nothing yet; we only know of Slugslinger. Or was it Misfire? I forget which of the two was in Wave 6.

Slugslinger is the Wave 6 one, and pretty much the only confirmed one out of the bunch. Tons of rumors though, including a Leader Class Dezarus/Deszaras/Dessaras/Deathsaurus.

Slugslinger was revealed with AimlessMisfire, but official sources still have him as Wave 6. Not to mention, the official stock renders were tagged with their product codes:
Misfire: C2393
Slugslinger: C3250
Misfire's is in line with other confirmed wave 5 entries (Octone's C2396, Blitzwing's C2397, Overlord's C2388), while Slugslingers starts a new sequence, typical of new waves.

They all have the harder to find repaints and not the figures anyone wants. So I check out with PayPal with a $5.00 off promotion and got another 5% off ($1.15) from popup add on Toywiz. My total shipped was $22.83. Toywiz charges $5.99 for shipping, but that was all covered in promotions. I'll take it.
yeah this is what I am talking about, the harder to find repaints are not that hard to find afterall. Same thing on my end.

It's not bragging if its true. Well Done.. I'm not sure about rainchecks at TRU in the United States. I've been able to take advantage of sales in terms of smaller figures, but I don't seem to recall to many with the larger ones. I'll also have to look into the price-matching, not sure if theyn will do that either, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Thank You wj88.
No problem, and they really should price match, its written pretty clearly in their policy, they even tell you which retailers they will price match with, which includes Amazon when Amazin is itself the seller. Thats good news for you guys since Amazon is where you can get good deals sometimes (Canada's amazon doesnt sell much in terms of TFs and the prices are rarely decent).

Agreed. I'm not sure of all the intricate details. I tried to ask them how they could have items in stock on their website, but not at a particular store, and the guy just said "the stores and the website have nothing to do with each other..."

I guess other than the fact that they are both named Toys R Us, and that you can have items shipped to store from the website...yup totally unrelated whatsoever...

Yup, had that happen with the combaticons. I wanted to get the limb bots at TRU cause that's where I saw them first, but they were $24 and they would not price match Walmart's deluxe price tag. To price match, they told me I had to find the exact same item in another store and then bring proof of it like an add. Which is absurd

Many places dont price match their own site, its some kind of loophole since they arent a competitor. happens in canada too. A Walmart stafer told me its because the site will have sales based on items taking up too much space in the warehouse, which is independent of what the actual stores have in stock. And so the price on walmart.ca is not indicative of the price at a walmart store.
However, Toysrus in the US HAS to pricematch their own website. It says so below.
Also I do want to confirm that Toysrus in the States WILL price match online only retailers. They say so in their policy page. here is the info:
The original, complete competitor ad, with valid dates, must be presented at time of purchase. Advertisements presented via smartphone must be displayed on competitor's website or app. Online prices must be verifiable via competitor website.
A price match will be granted at the time of purchase or within 7 days of purchase date with a valid receipt
When two or more of the same item are purchased, price match will be limited to two of those items.
Prices are matched after deducting any Toys"R"Us and/or Babies"R"Us coupon savings and other offers from our price.
We do match:
Identical items in local retail competitors' print advertisements - same brand, same size, same style and function, although variances in color will be accepted.
Pricing of an exact item at a competitor location that is the result of a single item percentage (%) off discount or coupon, such as a competitor coupon for 20% off a single item.
Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com online pricing.
These competitors and their websites:
Amazon
Baby Depot
Barnes & Noble
Best Buy
buybuy BABY
diapers.com
Fred Meyer
GameStop
Hobby Lobby
JCPenney
Kmart
Kohl's
LEGO
Macy's
Meijer
Michael's
Sears
Target
Walmart
YoYo.com
I suggest you guys keep this link handy when you go shopping: http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?c ... d=11949070

william-james88 wrote:Stuff
I wish you would tell them that, cause they won't listen to me. Target did that for me, which his how I got the RiD Sideswipe battle pack for $10, but TRU wouldn't. They are very stingy about their stock and prices. It may say so in that policy, but you bring it up to the price matchers and they will refuse. They will (or at least mine will) only price match a competitors advertised price, not a general size class, not an online store. When i price matched those combaticons, it was basically "we won't match online, we won't match online only stores, and we will only match another store's price if you have proof of the exact same item being there at that cost"
TRU Canada may be good for you guys, but for the US it is not very good. Inflated prices and crappy service most of the time.

Both of mine never saw the CW boxsets, so I was shocked when they got in Chaos on Velocitron. I'm imaging they won't get too many more shipments though, thanks to the movie products coming soon.
But yeah, mine never have the latest deluxes or Legends, but the exclusives (where available) are appreciated-- if you don't mind paying at least full MSRP.

Sorry about that. It might be because our consumer protection laws are a big deal in Canada and TRU doesnt want to get in trouble.
I understand that they wont match a class though, that makes sense, since the UPC codes are unique to the character. But they should match a character you find on amazon sold by amazon. Have you tried showing the policy to the store manager?
I personally am not a big fan of price matching because usually, if its available elsehwere for a better price, I just buy it there. And, as I said, the competitors kinda suck in Canada. Amazon has nothing. So instead I just go with my raincheck thing.

I'm not sure this is 100% correct as I have priced matched TRU's own website in sore. However, this was just before Christmas, so I'm not sure if they loosen the rules for the holidays and then tighten them up again.
Edit: Whoops, replied before I realized a whole bunch of others did.
Posted by o.supreme on April 10th, 2017 @ 12:22pm CDT
A couple weeks later I came back with he same coupon (and another), both of which I actually printed out. TRU was also having a sale on Legends Figures (BOGO 50% off). This time they accepted the coupons with no issue, so I ended up getting 4 legends figures having only to pay for $10 out of pocket.
TRU is usually not ever busy except during the holidays, so if I think something is off I'll usually ask to talk to a manager. If its too busy I just leave without purchasing and come back another time.

At least they finally turned those damn audio displays off - thank the matrix they did my head in.
I got UK TRU to price match themselves late last year no problem with the Voyager Wave 3 Optimus & Megatron.
I suspect they might have been awkward if they were out of stock online though.

P.s did you guys (and other genders) know that Wei Jiang is doing Ko overscale Titan Returns toys soon ?
Specifically Skullsmasher, Hardhead, Highbrow, Wolfwire & Highbrow.
If the test shots they showed off are accurate there is some subtle changes - like Skullsmasher has his beast legs inside his robot legs in robot mode. and they may not all have transparent cabins.
But overall they look interesting.
I thought it worth a mention.

just seen today that besides a cut in the prices for stuff like voyager megs and prime (and big cuts on the remaining combiner wars stock). theyre down from €31 to €25.50.
but the REAL news is theyve listed wave four which aint on the shelves here yet PLUS leader sky shadow and voyager broadside.
considering we never got six shot here from that store im kinda shocked at that. price point is €59.99 and €31 respectively.
dunno when itll hit the shelves but if its anything like the computron gift set it'll be the next two weeks or so.

Perhaps TRU / The Entertainer might be planning an event on Transformers when that happens - and saving the non-Movie toys for that time makes a certain amount of sense as it bumps up their potential offerings a bit.
I just hope that I can find a Six Shot sometime (for a sensible price -
like £35.00ish) since they are now promising Skyshadow for soon and he's not shown up yet either. I refuse to pay £50 for a leader unless it's a premium deco or an import.
Skyhammer is listed as 10-14th April so they should have him soon and he's cheaper too & I just bought Bushfire on Sunday so I know he's out here too. Also the listing they have had up for week for Activator Combiner Sideswipe & TR Sixshot have disappeared - which is sometimes a sign of imminent arrival at smyths.
