A vietnamese seller on facebook has the recently revealed Slash and Grimlock figures from The Transformers: Last Knight for sale, but it is a private account. TFW user Saito Satoru has access and posted the images found there. You can see both of them in their more screen accurate grey/silver decos below.

I never bought the original slash because I didn't like the colors. So I may get this.

Loving the blue metallics on Slash.

Your so damn lucky. I also think this looks great, but the fact that I already bought the previous one makes me really ticked off that I have to buy the same toy again just to get a decent deco. You wont have to live with the guilt of noe having wasted money, you get the good stuff straight away :)

In my experience when I have to buy two versions of the same mold I just slap a purple autobot logo on the ugliest version And put it with the sg's.

Yeah that sucks, most SG figures are expensive so it's not worth it.
My big issue is when I buy a figure and a better version of the character comes out, like evasion prime. For space reasons, I try to never own more than one version of a character.

Character or mold? Like for instance do you only have 1 movie bumblebee toy? And only one classics Bumblebee toy? Or does the MP invalidate the rest? You got me curious.

Character. MP10V (yes I bought a ko) is my only Optimus, sold my prid prime when I got it. TR Hotrod means I won't buy the movie one that comes out this year.

I never picked up Slash either. This deco is way cool and would go ok with my ghost knight Platty set. Might have to grab this one.

I wonder if Slash is any good at guitar? :-?

Slash was arguably the worst Deluxe figure of the AOE line. You couldn't pay me to get another.

He had so much beast mode banana feather kibble that it completely undermined the play value of the figure. In both modes.

I never owned the first toy, but I haven't seen good things about it. If they're going to rerelease Dinobot molds rather than give us new ones, why not Scorn? I own the AOE Scorn toy it's freakin' beautiful, IMO. Even the non-screen accurate color scheme felt perfect. The only compliant I have had w/ it is that the legs won't go on now, but that was more my fault (didn't get the difference between nail polish and nail polish remover on plastic at the time).

A shame the robot mode is so hindered by the fixed wrists and bizarre placement of the feathers, because I always quite liked Slash's dino mode and elements of his robot mode. Now granted I've never had the toy in hand, but I honestly thought it looked OK.

This colour scheme is nice, but I honestly preferred the seafoam and uranium colours of the old version. It gave it a real "Cybertron Jungle Planet" vibe, albeit with far less cool sculpting and paint apps.

One thing I will say is, with the overall skeletal designs, I will be mildly upset if we don't get a version of the Dinobot molds in a bone/"fossilized" colour scheme. Slog in particular would look awesome in bleached bone white or fossil brown, and it would be a rare case where that marbley plastic they like to use would actually work well.

I second that, hence why I am so pissed. I bought the mold the first time because I was super curious and wanted every new Dinobot mold. But maaaaan, this guy was rough. And now I see him in a nice deco and I wish the one I had in my collection was that one because I could never buy this toy again. Good thing the tail isnt removeable, meaning that he might end up in a thrift 5 years from now not missing too much (but who knows if I will still be hunting so firecly then).

The ONLY thing cool about this toy is how they chose to integrate the modern raptor interpretation (with feathers) into robotic form. That deserves some merit. some

I agree, Slash was the worst Deluxe and Dinobot from the last movie. I won't be getting another version of the figures from the last movie unless they drastically improve from the last movie. I may get voyager Prime and a deluxe Bee if he looks good in his new body as a toy, but otherwise, it is only new characters for me

There's an 'unfinished' air about those dinobot figures as pictured, and which goes beyond them merely being mis-transformed or transformed hastily. Slash especially looks like they just gave up half-way through the design process. 'Oh this is too hard, let's just leave it like THIS'.

I was disappointed with the movie4 dinobots (except maybe Snarl), and so far I'm not seeing anything that makes me better disposed towards the movie5 stuff. The final releases had better come roaring out of the gate to change this first impression...

The last time we saw the Transformers: The Last Knight One-Step Barricade figure was a single photo of the toy - thanks to Instagram account TransformersCars, we have another image, but one that shows off the figure just that little bit better in terms of lighting a quality. Check it out mirrored below!

Not sure how I feel about these redecos. On the one hand, it's nice to have movie accurate Dinobots. On the other hand, I now feel like an absolute chump for trying to find the AoE Dinobots online now. I literally just got a hold of Strafe too.

Anyways, Barricade looks pretty decent for a One Step, but I think I'm still gonna grab the Deluxe over it.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how many Transformer characters are swapping out guns for melee weapons. I keep waiting for a scene where Optimus spends 10 minutes, running up towards Megatron, shouting and waving his sword around. And Megatron just blows his head off with his fusion cannon. Cut to close up of Megatron. 'You know, with guns you can kill opponents from a DISTANCE.' They could learn a thing or two from old Indiana Jones.

Or if shooting hero Optimus is too much, have Megatron just take flight, then show Optimus jumping up and down, swiping at empty air with his little sword. 'Hey, no fair! Come back here!'

They'll just do it like Beast Wars Season 2. Where even if your weapon is essentially a Pizza Cutter, it still somehow shoots lasers!

With Beast Wars it was a violence concern. But let's be real here, melee weapons have been prevalent in this franchise since the beginning. Sherman Dam anyone?

Isn't it wonderful how they make each size so amply stocked with Bumblebee & Optimus Prime toys to buy - they've never done that before now have they.

How the f can Cogman be a repaint? coz he's supposed to turn into an Aston Martin & we haven't had an Aston Martin transformer before.

So! we ARE getting Warpath(which may or may not be the bot in the trailers with treads on his shoulders + hopefully he'll be the WW1 tank)

Wait, I'm confused.

How is this:

The same mold as this?

I guess they may be similar, but there are only so many ways to turn a car into a humanoid robot.

Exactly. I'm not a huge fan of the transformation because of the amount of kibble and the fact that the mold feels smaller and lighter than other deluxes. Plus, if they would do it, that would make a very similar toy for 3 straight movies for 3 different characters. That bores me a lot

I can understand that, and said as much, they are similar, but again there are only so many ways you can turn a car into a humanoid.

Most car into robot transformations end up feeling similar. I'm not saying its bad you're tired, I just don't see how its possible to make it feel all that different from an engineering standpoint.

Its possible you are just burnt out on movie aesthetic and I can understand that perfectly.

See, I actually like the movie aesthetic, I just don't like that mold that much. It didn't feel that good on Roadbuster and then they did it again on Lockdown. I'm ok with them making multiple uses of a transformation scheme if it is a good and satisfying one and can do something sort of different each time (each Bumblebee feels different and enjoyable to me despite a similar look) but on a mediocre mold it feels.. exhausting.

I know there's only so many ways to Transform a bot to a car, but look at TR. They've some some really good things with the transformations over there despite similar looks between bots.

It also sort of stings that the same mold could potentially be used for 3 different characters that really deserved better. Roadbuster deserved to have an armored car look that he didn't get as a deluxe; Lockdown was the main villain and got a disappointing small figure, and then Hot Rod is finally making it into the movies and he could be using a mediocre mold as well.

It all feels wrong to me on that mold level.

I just hate that mold because its so simple. It creates a huge shell, ugly arms and you are stuck with fake kibble for a chest. So yeah, that mold and transformations scheme can stay where it is and if it never comes out again it would still be too soon.
