If they can knock out a Noise Maze/Sideways repaint/remold out of this mold, I would be really happy. It'd complete the original use of the Sideways mold by using the new Scourge mold.

Ratbat ain't the only cool thing in that pic. 
I'm digging that scan of the Shinobi Team, Go-Gekisō, Go-Kenzan, and... whoever the human boy is (he's not Isami, who's another boy).

With all this talk of the Generations line having figures based off designs of characters in IDW comics, I would be unpleasantly surprised if Hasbro decides not to release their own version.

the Japanese one is on pre-order, but I won't be sad if Hasbro used the mold and colours to do a cheap Ratbat themselves to bolster a line and allow the spending of some more money and time on creating some better versions of more requested characters.

That picture, that one right there? That's Ratbat. You got told by the man himself. IDW G1 Senator Ratbat, for whom this redeco/remold is designed. His spark was subsequently ripped out and shoved into a cassette.

I really really like this 'new figure' even when we all know it is a repaint of Generations Scourge with a new head, but like I said, I really like it and honestly I doubt that Hasbro will release this figure and if they do I'm sure they will paint him the wrong way or not as cool as the Takara paint job so I don't mind paying $36.99 for this figure, this is why I had to add it to my bbts pre-orders for June,,also I had to get TG18 - Skywarp - Fall of Cybertron just because I knew it will sold out,,,, and it sold out on bbts, glad I got me one, it should arrive this wednesday with more figures

The image itself is obvious. The point I was making is to the masses this is Ratbat/Senator RB okay fine. But to me (considering I don't follow the books) this could be someone entirely different so to me this ain't Ratbat. The same went for PRID Rumble, to most that was Rumble but not to me.
