In-Hand Images of Takara Tomy Transformers Legends Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak

I caved and ordered Ginrai. Perfectly happy with PM Optimus but god bomber really sealed the deal. Hope he comes next week.

Look again at their screens. They still have all of the tablet display buttons and features colored in. The cassette tape designs are each tablet's wallpaper backgrounds.

How is this even possible? It's not as easy as removing the cab and replacing it with a transforming one, the portion of the trailer that covers the cab would also have to be removed or somehow covered up which I don't think will look as clean as the silhouette looks.

Actually it is.



As with Magnus and TR PMOP the cab is a separate piece, simply held in place by a single screw under the trailer. There's nothing attaching it to the trailer above it, and the transformation sequence means removing it leaves a big hole in the robot mode chest to be filled by the new Cab, which likely will be able to be removed, and folded up into a cube much like the original PMOP did.

Remove the Cab, place the new transforming one in its place and you are done. No pieces left to meddle with or cover up.

The problem is they blacked out a large portion of the part that covers the cab

What large portion? The chest piece only covers the sides of the cab. Everything in the middle of the chest is part of the cab.

Takara flipped on SW and Broadcast's feet. Blaster should have had the black and SW the silver.

Blame the mold layout and the Titan Master, plus TakaraTomy's desire for a blue Twincast.

Well, not just Legends but Takara has their 2017 release sched filled up until July 2017. Maybe on February we'll here about the next half of 2017 for their plans.

I wouldn't call 3 figures "filled up". Masterpieces haven't affected legends releases in the past why would this year be any different?

Am I forgetting anything? A little more than 3 LGs and some MPs right? They really do have their schedule full. They haven't even announced any Adventure figures for next year. The sparse number of Legends figures (only 3 in five months) is pretty light.
