It was made in Vietnam, though.

And distributed from? China China has larger ports than Vietnam. Cam Rahn bay despite being military grade is not yet that fully developed to serve as a primary distribution hub.

Checked some of my MPs

MP-10,MP-13,MP-22 made in Vietnam

MP-12,MP-20,MP-21,MP-23,MP-24 made in China

So if your info is correct, Tracks is the first Cybertron "car" made in Vietnam.

Dont know if it's just the picture but there seems to be 2 paint chips on the hood, inside the curve. hope it's not a sign of things to come...

That's the Masterpiece symbol of quality. I don't think a single one of my Autobot cars is blemish free. My original Takara Tomy Bluestreak is so messed up with excessive glue I can't even transform it.

.... with the kind of competition they are getting now they might finally be forced to improve. At the price they are selling them, they really need better qc.

Hasbro did a survey recently and there was A LOT of questions about 3rd party products...

Another answer to SS's question meme. Those QC issues you mentioned. If that sample didn't make the cut, it is , well "thrown away" or turned into display samples or giveaways.
